H, I love your videos, but, dude! Especially her name! Come on .... in English, French, Spanish, Italian and other languages which use the Latin alphabet, when one sees an accent on a vowel, particularly the "e", that gets a focused accent, and for the "e", the "ay" pronunciation. So, PLEASE H, her name is pronounced "shan - TAY". And, she's a very accomplished singer from The States. She has an even more controlled whistle range than Mariah. If Miss Moore and Dimash had had the time to practice this more, I'm sure there would have been a whistle note throwdown in place of one of those later returns to the chorus.

Thank you very much for your reaction and your opinion. Let me disagree with you, dear friend. )) In my opinion, Dimash’s ringing and crystalline voice and Chante’s deep and hoarse voice are uniquely combined. Haha! And your opinion that they weren’t vocally compatible is the reason why this song performed by Dimash and Chante’ is trending I guess… I’m being sarcastic. I believe your ear is off, so much into the technical that you can’t hear the chemistry, the raw, sexy energy, that is electrifying, and happy. I grew up with gospel, my mom had people like Andre’ Crouch singing at our church where my grandfather pastored. I grew up with all kinds of soul music, rhythm and blues, Jazz, all that. I will say, there is an expression of love, life and happiness that is contagious, and it’s in this song. This performance of Dimash, and Chante’ is powerful! They feel so free with each other they can play off of each other and it’s obvious they enjoyed it and so do we, because their different voices actually compliment one another and pull from each other! This duet is FIRE!!

Dimash was always restrained, in the background, without showing his full potential, because it was not the time, the one who had to shine was Chanté. So the one who shines the most in this song is her. Dimash very humble and very in his place.

In this presentation, back to "The Singer" (I'm a Singer 2024), Dimash participates as a guest and Chanté Moore competes for the award. In this context, we see (just as it was with "You Raise Me Up" with the children, in China) a more restrained Dimash and serving as a "ladder" for Chanté's brilliant performance. It's a shame they didn't win this duet and it's a shame Chanté didn't advance in the program, after her other performances! time: Chanté Moore is already an experienced singer: Born in 1967 (57 years old) and maintains an impressive youthfulness!

Fancy, after all these times of watching and hearing Dimash, and probably for you with others, you have not yet learned to appreciate those who are foreign to English as fully valid. For those of us who are Dears/his fans, we love his language idiosynchracies, his Qazak vowels and consonants, and know they add such colour and taste to his English version soundings. He has to cope with Russian, Mandarin, Kazakh and English as he intermingles in talking, frequently, and all those other languages that he sings in and has to try to make them all sound real enough. We English speakers think the world revolves around us, but Dimash has taught many of us that the arts outside of English speaking nations is often far superior. Not only the arts, but morals are far superior too. So give him space to be fully him, and wake up to the facts that everthing British is not the top of the line. All that aside, I do enjoy your reactions, and thankyou for them.

We've clashed before, notably on your reaction to Dudarai after which you plastered my handle on said video, which I found a bit offensive. I had subscribed and enjoyed watching your reactions before that incident. No hard feelings H of Stage, I don't hold grudges and believe that we viewers have every right to criticize or like reactions as much as reactors detract from artists' performances. Music is after all one of the more subjective experiences, and opinions will differ. In the present case, I wholeheartedly agree with @debbiemorgan859, though I don't subscribe to the ad hominem 'turd' criticism😊, but I know where she's coming from. Dimash's diction in English has improved immensely, and I marvel at his progress. There are very few artists who sing in multiple languages, Lara Fabian, who basically had a tri-lingual upbringing, but also sings in Russian, or some Latin American singers who sing in Spanish and English, or Spanish male singers like Julio and Enrique Iglesias who also perform in German, English, French+ etc (though not necessarily without accent), to mention a few. By comparison, Dimash's foray into singing in 13 plus different languages, coming from a Kazakh/Russian/cyrillic language culture, is unparalleled (even many American, Russian and Spanish opera singers have accents in German/French/Italian). I'm a natural linguist, and studied and worked in four languages (German, English, French and Spanish) but never attempted Mandarin, Russian etc. So I have the highest respect for Dimash's singing so many songs from the Indo Germanic/Romance language group by rote, infused with his passion that hits us straight in our heart and gut and makes young and grown men shed tears, often without understanding the words. Besides, Dimash, more than Freddie, has drawn a diverse population into the magic of classical music (although Freddie opened the flood gates). It is a phenomenal feat. So, still commenting on his accent, which BTW I find very attractive, is unnecessarily petty. Even the French forgave Dimash unreservedly for mispronouncing some words in early versions of SOS - and that says something about his usurping national treasures the likes of Balavoine and Marechal. Not to mention that he manages to do all that with an hectic production and travel schedule across the globe and often the shortest of preparation time (eg in the case of "I 'll Die for the Wind of the Mountains" he performed in Yerevan or for the current Singer performances). He is simply a genius with boundless energy. Lastly, I think that the Dimash/Chante duo is a perfect mix - it would be commonplace to have a duo in the traditional R&B/gospel style and counter to Dimash's genre mixing he is so famous for. I can easily imagine that Teddy Sims might be inspired to ask Chante to do this duo with him, but it wouldn't be as novel and groundbreaking as the present rendition. Their chemistry is astonishing and overwhelming. I do hope they collaborate in future. Their Lose Control is a 'problematic' ear worm. Dare I say, it is also exciting to watch Dimash come out of his traditional, rather shy shell as he enters manhood, which he first manifested at the Hong Kong performance of "When I've got you".

There is a saying here in England that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Your criticism of Dimash's pronunciation (two words out of the whole song mispronounced) caused me to focus on your extremely strong accent. I have to point out that at one point when you tried to say the word "third" you actually said "Turd" which you should be aware in English means something unpleasant so you may want to work on that? Given that these two didn't have a choice of who they performed with (Faouzia actually wanted to perform with Dimash) and they had less than 24 hours to learn and rehearse the song and work out a way to make two very different singing styles work together I consider that they did a damn good job.

@@BermetSadrieva oddly enough I've found that the people who criticise Dimash's accent and pronunciation the most seem to be non English speakers who seem to be under the impression that they speak perfect English themselves. Come on dude, you always come up with something to criticize him, is he too good for you to handle or are you being jealous though?? One more point, you really expect them to do riffs with exact same notes to match each other? Come on that's a duet of male and female, they have different tones and sensitivity about the song as long as they sound amazing together, dude points out the things that dont even matter at all, ridiculously. Remember back in the days, this dude was always being negative about Dimash and he even said that he was fake, he used auto-tune, pitch correction, blah blah blah.. then he quit doing video about Dimash for a while and that was kinda a relief for nearly all of us as a Dear but now he starts reacting to him again and let me guess, your channel flops lately, isn't it?!

I understand your discomfort with Dimash's accent, but I don't have that discomfort personally. In fact, I adore it. I realize that learning to speak a language other than one's native one without an accent is a painstakingly-difficult and intentional process a person decides to do or not based on the extent to which they want to maintain the purity of their mother tongue. My guess is that, as a polyglot by opportunity as well as profession, Dimash has carefully weighed this decision and decided to sacrifice some of the pronunciation of other languages in order to maintain the purity of his own. Two things to consider: First, many Dears love to hear his Kazakh accent coming through, but more importantly, remember that Dimash is not just a singer. In Kazakhstan, which is very newly independent and therefore very proud country, Dimash is considered a national treasure, hero, patriot, representative - and even a major economic export. That said, I don't think he'll ever bury his Kazakh accent when singing or speaking in another language. It's more likely that he'll have people the world over learning Kazakh! 😅

In addition; as a multilingual myself, I completely understand mispronouncing words in a different language. Now; for an American to mumble English words is EXPONENTIALLY unacceptable. 🤨🤨🤨 And her names is pronounced "Shan-té" emphasis on the last syllable. This was a perfect duet and they were flawless. Side by side with the Teddy/Kelly duet; I prefer Dimash & Chanté and I absolutely love Kelly! 🤔🤔🤔

Don't you know FORESTELLA yet?? A Korean vocal group and one of the best, if not the best, out there right now (no K-pop). Each voice is unique in its own right, together they are pure magic. I looked at your playlist and am therefore very surprised that you, as a vocal coach with a large channel, have not yet reacted to these exceptionally talented guys. 2 Masters of Vocal Music (first-class opera singers), 1 musical singer and 1 rock singer with extremely well-developed (and angelic head voice when needed). Their genre is CROSSOVER and they shine in EVERY GENRE AND STYLE. Due to their very different backgrounds, exceptionally rare ranges and extremely flexible voices, EVERY of their performances is TOP TEAR. You shouldn't miss them any longer. To start with, I recommend their extremely creative version of "Bad Romance". They have completely turned the song on its head. Let yourself be surprised! Or maybe their versions of "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Shape of You" or more classical "Parla Piu Piano", "Hijo de la Luna".........

Why criticize the accent, if we, the listeners, don't know 80-90% of the languages, in which Dimash sing? We enjoy musik and performance, and eveone has subtitles!

I think Dimash's English should not be mentioned much less criticized in a reaction. Your English doesn't have to be perfect because you are a foreigner who didn't grow up with that language. I've heard native English speaking singers and they don't pronounce perfectly either, so Dimash doesn't have to. Also, in an English song as fast as some he has sung, it is very easy to get lost in the pronunciation. English is a very difficult language for us foreigners when we try to speak it, I can imagine the difficulty singing, even for natives. Thank you for this very professional reaction

Dimash never imitate any singer or an original of a song. He always create his own style & interpretation of any song. And you should know it by now. Why criticize his classical style? Thats the reason why Dimash is very unique. And saying that Chante should be singing with the original singer rather than Dimash? Too critical of Dimash ???

I think it was an unexpected choice for everyone, but in the end I loved it. It was the same with the duo of Dimash and Victor Ma. The musicality, energy, chemistry are amazing. They had fun, and I absolutely love it. Was listening for a couple of days, and enjoy it more and more. I don't know if they had any Chinese singer who could do it with Chante. With Dimash, it is like he can do anything, and this way it'll be even more interesting. Thanks for reacting to this one, today the other song is out, different again, Angel love.

Aloha H! Love that you are covering Dimash’s newest song from Singer. I do tend to think the same as you but they were still amazing! Dimash didn’t have to hold back like he usually does with duet partners. Chante definitely has a set of pipes! They certainly had sexy and playful chemistry on stage that Dimash even giggled at one point! He never does that! It was cute!

Hello from Canada!.Love your channel! Love your thoughts in terms of EVERYTHING. Referring to comments below....Guys, please chill out! Nobody is questioning Dimash's talent, his technic etc and etc...This was clearly stated the above reaction. However, pronunciation can be very crucial, especially in certain songs and I have to agree with the fact that considering Dimash's work ethics, he can easily refine his pronunciation. Dimash is my absolute idol, but in terms of his own masterpiece ("Story of one sky"), I believe he can just put a little more effort to correct pronunciation. He chose English for his message, therefore it is so important that his message is fully understood (without reading subtitles). He is sooooooo extremely hard working and talented, that I am confident that he can easily refine his pronunciation of certain words (especially since he is still signing this AMAZING song of his own composition with same phonetic errors). And I would like to clarify that I am not talking about his accent which is just great! English is also my second language (as I am sure you noticed), however reaction videos are done for his benefit, nobody else's, and we Dears love that. We can all learn from them, including Dimash, if he so chooses.

In another of his reactions a few months ago, he called Dimash a fake. On the title screen of his reaction video. A big fat red "fake" for everyone to see! For no particular reason other than looking for clickbaits. As he admitted in his second video, after the explosion of angry comments from dears. He claimed that's how KZbin's algorithm worked. So no, dears don't like this, and it doesn't help anyone, even if the blogger has switched from musical to philological analysis.

Yes but the lyrics have been written by someone and have a meaning. Isn't it important to respect the words as much as the notes ? The words, the language is also music. It's good when an artist is looking for perfection. That's what people are waiting from him...that the artist could do what they can't do. 🤩💥😍

@@JeanneGwerz In case of most singers I would agree with you. Dimash is different. I for example never watch any translations, just listen to his voice, the music, his fingers. Dimash said he believed music was language by itself, and I fully agree with it. Try listening him sing the Armenian song, many of Chinese, Russian, Ukranian, etc. Japanese said his pronunciation was perfect, same with Italian. It is hard to find perfect pronunciation in US anyway, right?

👉 Rhythm and Blues (RnB)? Why not? Of course Dimash can! Here's the recipe for a cover to end up on the next level. Two excellent singers and lots of energy. Dimash and Chanté turn this performance of the song into fireworks. * Chanté Torrane Moore (*1967) is an American singer-songwriter, actress and author. Moore rose to fame in the early 1990s and established herself as an R&B singer. Dimash News: Before the airing of “I am a Singer 2024,” Dimash said: “I want to sincerely thank the organizers of the project, who try to invite me every year. Performing on this stage is a great honor for me.” In the final round of the project, special guests came to support the seven participants. Dimash Qudaibergen performed a duet with American singer and actress Chanté Moore, whose work is associated with contemporary R&B and jazz crossover. The audience felt the creative “chemistry” between the artists, witnessing absolute stage interaction and complete vocal harmony between two masters of their craft. Dimash and Chanté performed the hit “Lose Control” by American singer and songwriter Teddy Swims. * Original: Teddy Swims - Lose Control- kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYuWq39toLlplcU
