Dimash held an amazing online concert called the Dimash Digital Show which can be found on hos KZbin channel in the Dimash Digital Show Playlist as individual videos. The Playlist starts with Olimpico one of his trademark original songs, along with Give Me Your Love his own composition as a tribute to Michael Jackson, with many other songs in different genres. It was during the quarantine which had interrupted his world concert tour called Arnau. The Arnau Kinetic Voice, New York, Kiev and Moscow concerts are also on his channel plus his most recent concert Stranger in Almaty Kazakhstan. Anything you pick from his live performances are fabulous but seeing him in his private concerts shows a much better picture of this artist and his capabilities and personality. Dimash is currently without peer.

Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. Dimash is a 28-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1 (B0) - whistle D8 off the piano). That means he hits notes in almost 8 octaves and sings consistently in 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly😅). At least what he has shown us so far. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their origianal, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in his hometown Almaty, it was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art1, you realize your so wrong. He said in an interview he trains every day at least 3 hours and he swims under water very often to increase his lung capacity. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄. He sang this song on his digital concert in January 2021 during the pandemic. He had to cancel his tour and did this concert for his Dears/fans. That’s why there was no audiende to be seen or heard. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. Here he sings in a competition for young musicians, called New Wave in Sochi, Russia. He was there in 2018 as a guest. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. These last three songs are mind-blowing and will leave you speechless. I promise. Dimash is the greatest vocalist in living history. He's not up and coming. Dimash arrived as a megastar in an area of the world that has a larger population than the US and the UK combined. It's just that we here in the west (and I was guilty of this too pre Dimash) think that only what we produce here has value and meaning. Including China, Dimash has a worldwide fanbase of over 10 million fans and the largest active fanbase in the world. He held a sold out concert in New York in 2019 and was supposed to be doing an internship with David Foster to work towards his PhD, unfortunately Covid put a stop to that but he has been in Los Angeles for almost a month now working with Nathan Wang and Kevin Murphy. He's also been spending his free time with his old friend Walter Asanieff (who wrote songs for Mariah Carey and Celine Dion) and making new friends like Stevie Mackey, the vocal coach for AGT for the past 10 years.

You should listen to it again with the subtitles because then you'll understand exactly what you were feeling from the way he emotes the lyrics. He is from Kazakhstan. His native languages are Kazakh and Russian and he speaks some English and some Chinese. He began training at a performing arts school when he was 5 years old. He has also performed songs in 16 languages. He's a multi-instrumentalist, composer, songwriter, director, actor with his own production company called Dimashali Creative Center.

He still has 3 hours training with a vocal coach every day. He has been classically and contemporary trained since the age of 5 (23 years ago he started music school). He plays 7 instruments very well and was winning piano competitions before he was winning singing competitions! He has 2 degrees in Classical singing and Contemporary singing. A masters in Composition (for which he received a perfect score), he’s a fantastic composer! He’s currently working on his Doctorate in Musicology. He’s very famous all around the world but because he won’t sign a contract with the West (thank goodness!) not so well known in the west, although he did have a sell out concert in December 2019 at the Barclay Centre in New York and in London at the O2 in London. He has sell out concerts all over the world. His mother is a famous Soprano Opera singer and his dad is a famous pop singer/producer. He sings like both of them (only better, obviously!) He is held as the greatest vocalist of ALL time by many famous vocal coaches. He’s a very respectful, humble human being, who is very well grounded. He and his extended family all live together in a large family home in Kazakhstan. He sings in 13 languages including lots in English. He has the best composers in the world writing for him, as well as being an amazing composer himself. His two latest songs (premiered at the same concert at Almaty, Kazakhstan, in Sept 2022) are his own compositions and they are absolutely amazing! His concerts are incredible and can all be found on KZbin on his channel. They usually last between 3 and 4 hours and are very affordable to attend! Great reaction! Greetings from England!

Most of his videos do have cc for English subtitles so check for that. Dimash began going to music school at the age of five. He now has a Ph.D. in Music Composition and still takes vocal training for 3-5+ hrs. every day. May I suggest you start first with his performances on "The Singer 2017"? That is where his talent was shown to the world and everyone fell in love with not only his voice but his humble personality as well. He was the first foreigner to have ever been invited to participate and the youngest. No one, except the sponsors, knew anything about him, not even what he looked like. The other singers were 12-39 yrs. his senior and already had established careers. The next day, they provided him with bodyguards and had 6 million followers on Weibo, it is the Chinese equivalent of Instagram. He won second place but should have won first. I think because they felt it would be right for the professionals to be beaten out by a young "Foreigner" the very first time they opened the competition to non-Chinese singers. I will not tell you what to watch other than the show because anything you decide on, you will not be disappointed. I can hardly wait for your next reaction video to Dimash. I'm honestly not one for hyperbole, and I wouldn't say Dimash is my absolute _favourite_ singer (I mean, genre and style factor into that as well) --- but it _is_ true what people are saying: Dimash very likely is the greatest vocalist who has ever lived. Hey (bro?), He was singing in French, though he is from Kazakhstan (an country directly north of west India). As I understand it, one or both of his parents are opera singers. He began singing when he was 5 and was vocally trained since about 7 years old, thus he was able to keep the high voice "pipes", when he went through adolescence. He is now about 26 years old. At the age of five it was discovered that he has the perfect pitch, and he was enrolled in a Kazakh music school where he was schooled according to the Russian pattern: 50% ordinary teaching and 50% music teaching. Dimash is now a University graduate in singing, music and composing, and he is currently working on his PhD in music. He is multilingual and a multi- instrumentalist, and his vocal range covers 7 1/2 octavs…

Greatest singer in the world. He is currently living in California and studying at the New York School of Fine Arts in L.A. He has just recently completed his doctoral studies and Dissertation. He shot to stardom in music in 2017 participating in a music singoff in China. He is internationally known except the U.S. He did participate in a singoff here in America, but was treated terribly by Rhu Paul and Faith Hill so he walked away from the $2,5 million He is a singer, rapper, dancer, athlete, philanthropist, male clothing model and the list goes on and on. If you like Dimash you will also like Hua Chenyu and Zhou Shen. They are simply Amazing!!! But there is no there like Dimash in vocal range! Dimash has an 7.7 octave range (G0-D8) I believe, and he can move seamlessly throughout all of these ranges & can sing in any genre. He also says he can sing higher but it’s about the music & not hitting the highest notes. Dimash has been singing since the age of 5 & also composes his own music. In addition to all of the comments below, Dimash is working on his Ph.D. in Musicology in his spare time! His mother is an opera singer and his father is a pop singer. He trains in martial arts, and swims the length of an Olympic swimming pool underwater to help his breath control. I'm 72 years old and Dimash is the best singer/performer I've ever seen or heard...and I've heard or seen a lot of really good singers! Enjoyed your reaction! He probably is of the highest level there is. Lots of people with different backgrounds can still relate to this phenomenal vocalist. That is telling me more than the many octaves he has in his vocal range. He's not only technically gifted but he can also translate the emotions of the song to the audience. Het has the total package. It's almost other worldly.
