Not one of the best videos to represent her singing, it is really old and sounds odd to me. I LOVE her voice and the way she sings, the improvement over the years is amazing, she released an album last year filled with amazing songs (Same old feeling is my favorite one). If you want to check more from her you can listen to her concert at the royal albert hall, I watched that whole video so many times her voice is just captivating

She was under the pitch very consistently and it was quite uncomfortable to listen to. Some moments were beautiful when she was on pitch and her timbre worked really well. But most of the time was not the greatest

Her Clown live performance in the Royal Albert Hall was so different from this. It was so beautiful. Although, I think the recording version of Read all about it is better, might just be a bad day for her this time.

It may help to have given you some context to this song, its recording and release. Originally, she featured on the single 'Read All About It' by British rapper Professor Green in like 2011, the song is very similar to 'Love The Way You Lie' in its style and content. It's upbeat, more energetic, and full-on than this version. Emeli Sande only sung the chorus on that release, and her ad libs are similar to what she does in her own release. Following the original Read All About It, this is somewhat of a sequel and a stripped down version in comparison. This wasn't meant to be a single, but was the final song used to close her album 'Our Version of Events'. She was asked to perform this at the 2012 Olympics, after which it gained a lot more popularity than was initially expected for the track. The album version doesn't have any drums, it's literally just a piano, and so I'm assuming that they added more instrumental layers specifically for this performance, because the album version is actually much less energetic. It ended up being released in some countries as a single, but if you want something more energetic and intense because this left you waiting, try 'Heaven' or 'Next to Me', where she incorporates more gospel, and you can hear more of that influence you were noticing. Or try one of her collaborations with Rudimental 'Free' or 'More Than Anything'. I think her biggest strength as a vocalist is her ability to tame an instrumental. You can really experiment with different kinds of instruments and styles surrounding her voice because her musicality is very good and just allows that sort of freedom. Also keep in mind that British singers do tend to not ad-lib as much to suit American styles of singing.

Honestly I love this raw version of her. She is an awesome vocalist and song writer, but even more so a beautiful soul that irrevocably makes me feel things that fester in my heart and I can’t quite deconstruct at times. An artist that makes you feel is amazing within itself.

One of my favourite songs of all time --- a _totally_ unexpected surprise to see your reaction video to it! You _nail_ the main appeal of the song, for me at least, by immediately commenting on the lyrics: it's such a beautifully-written song, and your description of it "packing a punch with as few words as possible" is perfect. _This_ performance, was _not_ her best, and I loved your exercise on pointing out the pitchy parts --- I was more than a little proud to be pointing at the screen right along with you ;) _However,_ the uniquely discordant bridge ("we're all wonderful, wonderful people, so when why did we all get so fearful")? I think this was actually one of her best performances of this specific part --- and it is _not_ easy to hit those weird-feeling notes ("won...") and pick that new melody right back up into each phrase ("...derful, wonderful..."). Here, I think she actually sold it better than the studio version --- it definitely felt more "sure" to me. You should definitely check out the *"Attraction Shadow Theatre - Read All About It"* performance on KZbin. It's a shadow theatre group auditioning for Britain's Got Talent to this song, and it's a _fantastic_ melding of some powerful visuals to this song's beautiful lyrics! *EDIT:* Oh wow, your "I wanna shout!" suggestion for the melody at ~6:39 was great!

Ray Charles a Song for you is a great song, or maybe Meatloaf, Queen, Etta James? I love your channel and love your reactions. Tara- got a few suggestions for people to react to. Ky Baldwin- He is known as the "Boy Wonder from Down Under". His song called "Dear Mom" is an anti-bullying song that hits extremely hard and needs to get out there Caleb Hyles- basically any of his frozen covers, or titanic, or anything Disney lol John Farnham- Aussie Icon however isn't that well known outside of Australia. He's in his 70s now and still doing concerts with Olivia Newton John and others. Stefan Benz- a young 12 year old, very talented doing covers and writing his own songs. Jonathan Young- More of a metal singer, however does a lot of collabs with Caleb Hyles as well
