Get a pitch app and find a viritual piano with the keys labeled on them and test it!

@@pinesyeet what is a good app?
@pinesyeet3 жыл бұрын
@@isabellarios2005 If you search for "chromatic tuner" in the Play Store (or apple store I guess) you'll find apps that are for tuning instruments etc, these work great! I prefer one named "Chroma | Chromatic Tuner". It has a green and white logo and is from a publisher named "CoffeePods". As for online piano, go to www.onlinepianist.com/virtual-piano . Hit the button named "letter notes" and hit the "zoom out" to get a full piano. When you press a key, the whole name of the note played will be displayed in the top left. :)

Should add that the piano probably works better on PC than phone though.

Tara, it would be great is you did videos covering certain voices such as the Basso Profundo, Counter Tenor, and Contralto. Sorry Soprano's, you already get enough attention.

Well guess my range is B2 for low range ( singable ) Bb5 for a mix range ( singable ) C6 for head voice / falsetto with E7 for whistle register ( i struggle sometimes but i reached it ) that makes B2-Bb5-C6 ( im a guy )

Tenor here. D5 is as high as I’m getting, and A2 my lowest.

I'd qualify you as a Bartone if you can go down to an A2. The fact that you can go up to a D5 is very impressive.
@GMell1234 жыл бұрын
@@ZaneChihuahua thanks! Yeah, when I’m singing SATB music, I always opt for the tenor section because I know I wouldn’t be able to hit some of those bass notes. Not only that, but I find the high tenor melody in some pieces of music quite enjoyable to sing.

I sing in a band and have watched a couple of your vids.... sitting her in my little studio....not so warmed up I got to a doable A5 and down to a G2.... again "doable" But as you said on any given day, (especially 2nd set into a gig)...I likely could get to a singable Bb5. Great information to have in my pocket. Thanks.

I find it hard to use my voice properly. If someone asked me to sing 'normal' to test my range, I would probably have 2 octaves. But if I'm messing around with different tones and approaches, different genres of music etc, I can mix way up my head voice and probably sing closer to 4 octaves. After years I've still never been able to incorporate the mixed notes in a reliable way into my register, and when I attempt covers I mimic the singer's approach and it usually doesn't work.

When I sing (in the car) a high pitch song, I feel like I can get more baritone afterwards. Would doing the head voice exercise first allow for a lower chest base results?

It's because you're more relaxed after sustaining higher notes now going to a more comfortable tessitura your voice feels that release.
