Chen and the rest EXO member always say that language is not important because they can show their love with music that a universe language. Everybody would understand music language. Thats make them always work hard when it comes to music to show their best.. They are so humble, they are that great but always say that they would show more work hard in another time in future... They always that great and humble ... all EXO member are humble ... If u know they so well, u would say that they are angels...

I love your videos and expertise. One suggestion I hear from a friend (which I think I agree with) is to dampen the echo in the room a bit to increase the clarity/balance in your voice. The walls seem bare and reflective. Just putting up a couple of larger foam panels behind and to the sides should help, assuming all your walls are bare (I'd have to see the room). I hope that helps! It's not a big deal. Thanks for all you do!

The song they covered is like some soft thing from 70s, 80s... they made it a beautiful rock ballad. As far as I’ve watched the analysis of this video all voice teachers agree... almost the same facial expressions at the same place. I don’t know if it’s talent or hardworking, all 9 of these wonderful young men amazes us.

If you like rock, you must react to “EXO Chen - Uprising ( Japan )”, it is Chen’s solo rock song performance from 2014. (Chen is the one on the right in this vid, who sang that last high note.) This past April Chen also released his first solo album “April, and a Flower,” 7 years into his career as a singer in Exo. (He is also the first member in Korea to release a solo album, it was very successful, with the title track topping charts in Korea. ) It is comprised of 6 ballads. It would be awesome if you could do a first album listen reaction video and talk about his singing. You can find the album on Spotify as well as (unofficially) on YT with English lyrics. He does some really amazing high notes among other things. You’re really knowledgeable and professional so I’d love for you to break down his singing in this album. There is also an MV and various live performances of some of the album tracks (namely the title track “Beautiful Goodbye” and the sidetrack “Flower” which was written by Chen himself), I’d be happy to provide links.

I’m glad to hear your critique. This was a competition in their first year of being in EXO. They were criticized for not looking at each other. Which I beg to disagree! And the other criticism was that they were too young to have experienced heartbreak! That really ticked me off. I think the judges just through some stuff out because they didn’t want the guys to win so easily. 😠 Funny fact. They auditioned on the same day with Baekyun following Chen. Baekyun says he sounded like a frog compared to Chen. SM Entertainment must have felt they hit gold with these two being accepted at the same time.
