i think what they mean is that most of exo are less exceptional vocalists. the only 3 amazing vocalists in exo are baekhyun, chen and d.o. the rest are pretty average. even i can sing most of chen's parts, but he's amazing still when compared to other exo members.

+CarKpop try pronouncing it BECK-hyun. "AE" and "E" almost have no distinction in Korean. The "U" is supposed to sound something in the middle of an "O" and a "U", but a lot of Americans can't pronounce that, so the "U" should be fine. Just don't go saying "hyin" instead of "hyun", which you tend to do sometimes when you say it fast. Hope I helped!

this song is about heartbreak, and chen & baekhyun said that they didnt really know the feeling of having their heart break so in order to fully grasp the meaning & putting their whole feel to the song, they asked their family & friends about it. they dug deep into the song so that the performance wouldnt look fake. p/s : i saw this video many times before & it still makes me teary eyed. :(

I ADORE your reaction to this video. I LIVE for this performance, it's one of my favorites. The lyrics talk about a lost love. There are parts where they say "I didn't know he/she would leave me. I really didn't know" and things like that, hence the tittle. Great video. So, the one with the mohawk and falsetto is Baekhyun and then the one with the brown hair with the deep voice but can hit high notes is Chen. They both excel in the group but you can hear a lot more of Baehyun's notes in El Dorado and Chen's high notes in Drop That.

I'm late as hell but the "ae" in Korean names isn't a diphthong, it's just "eh" not "ay". It's super easy to find videos on how to properly pronounce their names, I suggest you do that (I'm NOT being judgy, just want to make that clear).
