Why is nobody talking about Miley Cyrus’ f5? It was from pure chest voice and for a mezzo-soprano, it’s a very high note for her to hit. She also hit it with a more rocky edge which made it harder to hit. She’s such an underrated vocalist.

Miley's, Morrisette and Christina's were my favourites. I think sohyangs clip was a really odd choice. In that performance she was purposely making a darker colouration to get a "rockier" effect and she has many more that are just better. t's still great and one of my faves here tbh but a really odd choice.

The girl in 1:54 that you wanted to know more about is Any Gabrielly. She is the Brazilian member in the global pop group, Now United. They have pretty amazing songs and if you do consider finding out about them, i do recommend Better, Stand Together, One Love(the song where she hit that note you just saw) and Who Would Think That Love, for a more vocal experience. She also has a few covers of her own, and a fun fact, she did the voiceover for Moana Brazil, you should definitely check them out!

Beyoncé didn’t use any tuning. it was reverb on it tho to give it more of an effect but no autotune whatsoever. her F5 was definitely alongside one of the best in this video, it was very powerful and resonance..after all, she’s the Queen of F5s

Whoever Sandy is, that was squeaky cleannnn. Demi's was also clean af, loved her slide up to that note. As much as I love Jojo, that F5 sounded very squeezed out to me. I have to say, Miley's was the most impressive...she threw caution to the wind and just let er' rip and it payed off. JHud actually had a LOT of fullness in her tone on that note (i wish she would do this more) it sounded very comfortable. Lara Fabian's F5 was pitch perfect and had a lot of brightness and openness, plus she bodied out the note by far the best, with that sustained riff and phrasing. Lara's technique and control was the best here. Also, I love how Celine flipped up to that F5 so easily and delivered it with excellent vibrato and power.

You should definitely listen to more of Kim Petras music and clips if you get the chance!! She really does have some strong vocals yet is sadly so overlooked in mainstream music. One song in particular that shows off her true vocal availability has to be massacre, the climax is NUTS 😳 and you can really hear some of the depth that she has sprinkled throughout the song. She also has this really distinctive fast vibrato which I absolutely love. A Highly recommended artist to look into. 👀
