Gabriel’s Dad is the Pastor at a “Pentecostal Church” Back in the days, we called them a “Holiness Church”. Gabriel is the Worship Leader aka Music Minister.

Gabriel was congregating in this church in Houston, with his cousins that congregate there always, and he was invited to sing with the choir, they rehearsing 5 minutes. Gabriel sings since 3 years old.

The story behind this recording: The name of our church is The Pentecostals of Katy (located in West Houston). The POK Choir director/other artist’s name is Shara McKee (my wife) - her music all over Spotify, KZbin, iTunes etc. Gabriel visited our church this past Sunday (10th). His family (William & Cintia Drost) are members of our church. *William was his interpreter on the golden buzzer episode. Gabriel attends with his family when he is in town. We prayed for Gabriel’s AGT journey during our Sunday AM service. That Sunday AM service video is available on our church KZbin feed. This happened following our regular Sunday PM service. Gabriel always dreamed of singing with a choir and also wanted my wife to sing with him. We had a little jam session with choir and band after service. Gabriel wanted to record “Oh Happy Day” with the choir & my wife. This recording was after about 5 min of prep with no mic check. Our choir doesn’t normally sing this. Great reaction, Mr Harris! Thank you for supporting Gabriel Henrique's amazing talent! As far as I know, singing in church with a choir in America was one of his dreams. So glad it came true. Gabriel had already sung goodness of God at the actual service so they already knew how wonderful he sang. This was just put together after the service was over.

Was it only me, or did someone else see teary eyes? It's so touching to witness pure talent. The fact that they didn't rehearse made it somehow better, "organic". The choir and the lady were so awesome as well. When all the voices were singing together, it was the most beautiful mess I've ever heard.

to answer your question I watched an interview with Gabriel's brother saying that he and his father have to insist that Gabriel warm up and do vocal exercises. So it wouldn't be any surprise if he picked up the mic and sang like that without any warm-up.

To answer your questions about Gabriel's warm-up before from the Whistles performance, I can guarantee that there are several videos that prove this, the most recently on AGT with Terry Crews, where Gabriel whistles on demand, without any heating. 💙👋💚👋❤ Pretty impressive . !!!!! He is one of the Best on this record.💦👋💦👋 Like in this video for "Oh Happy Day". He only had 5 minutes to warm up. Gabriel did not qualify for the AGT Finale, we fans are still in shock, But at least millions of people are now aware of his phenomenal and surreal Vocal abilities. 💎🎵🎶💎 We hope things open up for him and he finds the right people to work with. move forward in his career and have the achievement he so desires.
