For context, the reason they cover these type of songs goes back from the band's time prior to blowing up as a wedding singer/band. They are expected to accommodate requests during gigs mostly from older (boomer/genX). They got recognized early for these genre of song covers. That's why some fans got put off when they decided to do more covers of other genres. Gigi is a rock girl at heart, she said this at one of her interviews.

This is my favorite Gigi. I call it the 80s Gigi. It's when she sings with the sound, made popular during the 80s, on any song. It shows how beautiful her tone truly is, especially when she put the emotion into it. Wow coach, you did a beautiful version of Elastic Heart. I've enjoyed it.

Hi Coach from an avid UK subscriber. I LOVE Gigi and the Vibes and happy you "discovered" her as she obviously bring you lots of joy. Want to see and hear something AMAZING. Check out Tori Holub (a 20 year old trainee audio engineer) and Jim Wilkas (a high school music teacher) recreate "We've only just begun" as a tribute for Karen Carpenters birthday this year. If you do consider doing reactions of other Asian singers, I'd recommend NuNew Chawarin, 22 yo, who's Thailand's nation's son (named by Thai media) and a new young musically and linguistically talented (he has covered songs in Thai, Chinese, English, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Tagalog, with very minimal accent), he studied Chinese in college and was never vocally trained before debut so would appreciate if he can get some pointers from you guys. There are tons of his videos here on YT (lots of live fancam and him singing raw in ig lives, along with his official music videos). He has many inter-fans, especially Chinese fans. I know you've probably been getting loads of recommendations so no worries if you do not take on new ones or try mine, just keep on doing what interests you the most, always appreciate all the fun reaction vids ❤

I love your video so much!! I always enjoy listening to your discussion about music !! Please do a reaction video of 留香瓊 (Lau Heung King) 火海 or 純情（this is a cover song 王菲 is the original singer）, because people in Hong Kong are judging his pronunciation of Cantonese it is not clear. However, in my own opinion, I do enjoy this style. I would love to know what the professionals think.
