I always like to compare it to those old painting masters. Where sometimes they find a painting and they are not sure wether it is done by the master or a painter that at that time was one of his students. I think it's like that. She started out aiming at, and learning from what whitney did. But since then has matured into a master in her own right.

First off I really like how you do these videos and how you talk about GG. I’ve been a fan since the beginning in 1994. Glennis once participated in the Eurovision Song-contest with My Impossible Dream. To me with that song she showed that Europe had their own Whitney Houston. Unfortunately it didn’t do anything because well the contest is politically driven and not musically but I would love to hear what you have to say about her performance because this song was written for her and so it’s one of the few original Glennis Grace songs out there. She still reminds me a lot of Ms Houston And I am hearing a husky tone at times which I never heard. I wonder if she’s smoking. And still the first thing I thought about was the my love is your love era when Whitney too has a husky voice especially when flipping through registers. This woman can sing, hands down. It's a secondary language for rest of us in Europe but we learn it well. The biggest issue is when we don't use the language much and get rusty. The awkward feeling of hearing ourselves speak is the biggest barrier and is what hinders us to pronounce well The problem usually disappears when we get more well oiled. Weirdly enough I think most people feel less awkward when singing than speaking.

i went to see her some weeks ago and saw her doing a full Whitney tribute and i know for years that she is way more then a Whitney singer...she can sing anything and make it sound great! On my channel you can see a bunch of those live performances at the Whitney tribute. She sang her heart out, so amazing, so powerful.
