1- Jackson is actually too humble 2-he wasn't that much of a vocalist in strt so I think when he says he can't sing that was in comparison to vocal members but he Improved so much with his dedication and love for music I'm so proud of him look at him now he's no less than a vocalist no one can say he's a rapper I feel like a proud mom though I'm just one year Younger than him lmao 😅😂

During his training years, Jackson was kind of forced to develop a brighter tone to match the group. But years after his career he started to use his dark and mature, husky voice even more, especially rapping with this tone. Then he started his solo career, he sang some commercial songs with a soft tone but after MIRRORS his first album he utilized his darker tone. Listen to BULLET TO THE HEART, it’s his lead single for his first album and you can hear him singing a bit darker, but ofc it’s still not comparable to 100 ways

I really think if you get into got7 you'll love them. He is the most talented & humble & funniest person out there. most of those videos were from his variety/comedy shows that's why they are funny to you and not showing his whole singing skills. Hi Justin. Yes i love Jackson tone now. Jackson actually audition as a Singer. JYP dont like Jackson tone at that time and asked Jackson to be a rapper instead.. He was trained as a rapper. He always tell everyone he cant sing. He always put high standard and expectation to himself. He is Mr Perfect. His tone improved a lot.

His vocal tone is one of those where once you here it you know who it is. I agree with you. I love his dark tone especially on his recent album Bullet To The Heart. I think you should react to Bullet to the Heart and On The Rocks in that album for more of his vocals. Also, you should react to Titanic ft Rich Brian on the album to see his rap skills.

He wasn't comfortable in the beginning with his singing voice, no doubt due to him starting as a rapper. He is able to change his tone when singing but when he sings now, it is mostly him singing with the darker tone now though. I personally love his singing voice, I've been following Jackson for years and his voice has improved sooooo much. His singing voice is definitely one of my favorites. Yeah he started to sing with a brighter tone in the beginning to match the group's colour but if you ever heard his rap tone it's very raspy which his current signing matches more. He can do both though! You should definitely check out some more of GOT7's music.
