I am the honest vocal coach! I have been teaching for 15 years and been singing since I was 16. I teach from my own studio and also teach and mentor via email, and online via Live & Skype. I specialise in teaching children, and teenagers pop and musical theatre but I am trained in all genres of music. I have studied every voice technique there is, including Speech Level Singing, Estill, Bel Canto, Robert Lunte, London College of Music, ABRSM, Ria Keen, Kim Chandler, Stevie Van Lange and many more. I have been around!

@Diamond Benford I live in New Orleans and this is VERY bounce style and actually Big Freedia rallied to try and get people to listen and take notice to Little Mix but AS USUAL....Americans have some sort of "Little Mix Block" that they have on in full throttle, it's a damn shame, and their loss...what I'm really thinking is that if it ain't HUGELY rotated on mainstream radio the US don't want to even flinch at it....UGHHHHH!!!!

Bounce Back isn't their best song lyrically/sonically/vocally. They released this song because it's a song that would do really good on radios. You should react to songs like Lighting, Power, or some of their ballads.

The lyrics aren’t particualrly meaningful. It’s about embracing sex which we see a lot of female pop singers do but context wise, the story is that it’s their first single with their new label where they’re trying a new sound and are able to be more mature with the sound and lyrics.

Gotta be honest i LOVE this tune - the sample choice and the song (bounceback)was actually not written by them for once - they wanted to do something a little more fun after the morality laden tunes from their last album (incidentally strip wasnt a single they only released 2 including woman like me the others were just promos for the album - then it was bye bye Syco of course) So anyway love the fact theyve done a full 180 and changed direction for the summer - sometimes we need a bit of BubbleGum Pop even the LM girls with their strong sense of whats ‘right’ and educating the mis-directed ! Honestly I really feel that Little Mix transfers from studio to live flawlessly ...it always seems to sound very (if not exactly)much the same. Only a few songs have sounded a bit different live than recorded versions.

The song feels to me like a lazy choice just to get out new music. That’s not a diss to LM but they’re a product of today’s ‘throw away’ music culture. And with that comes the need to keep churning stuff out n not always the best of stuff. But It’s a radio friendly bop.

It's like they tried to take the chorus from Soul II Soul's 1989 hit "Back 2 Life (Whoever Do You Want Me)" (feat. Caron Wheeler), and write a bunch of nonsense verses over it, though they obviously may mean something more important to the people who wrote them, obviously. It's just that all I hear is the Soul II Soul all over it.
