I honestly don’t think any of them are better than each other. They’re all amazing in their own way, all have their own way and style of singing and as band they work so well together. I agree though, Leigh-Anne has improved the most out of the girls, she’s come such a long way. But I think they’re all equally amazing but in their own way xx

I think there is no doubt that Perrie is the best one, from a technical point of view, her range is amazing, she can do soft & powerful, she can do amazing transitions. I absolutely adore them all - Jade's tone is actually my favorite. I think placing the other 3 is pretty much playing dice, they are all up there, absolutely amazing.

I hate it when people compare others to see who is the best. Comparison should be made to help teach someone, not make someone "better," bcs each girl as you mentioned is amazing in their own way. Perrie isn't as good with runs as Jade is, and Jesy has such a unique tone of voice etc, etc, they all shine in different, ways. We should compare them to see how they can improve one another, not classify them as less than.

I've been really looking forward to this video because so many people assumed that Leigh-anne was the weakest link. I adore every member of the group but Leigh-Anne has a special place in my heart because she is the most improved member. What it was is in early days she'll show small parts of her abilities but what used to be her problem was her vocal stamina, so from X-factor era Leigh-Anne was not sounding like this but for me although Salute she was sounding real nice it's the Get Weird era is when she started taking off on a next dimension vocally. From then she's added creativity in her vocal performances and her tonal capabilities has enriched. Credit to her passion to really take on the task of learning from her group sister and vocal coach. PROUD OF HER!!

the only issue with leigh anne is that she has a veryyy weak diaphragm when she sings and is really inconsistent. but when she does hit the right notes and doesn’t go flat, she sounds so good x

Thank you for pointing this out. I’ve heated other vocal coaches address this. WHY THE HELL HASN’T she received the training to like fix thisssss. Like idk what’s going on behind the scenes, but she’s always had this problem, even if it’s improved. Like idk

Like this pisses me off. If she has a small issue with support, breath control, diaphragm, or whatever, (not a vocal expert) and I've seen professionals talk about this, why the hell hasn't someone stepped in to fix this. I know they are close to their vocal coach, I think, from the footage I've seen, so idk if I'm blaming him(idk exactly who it is). But it's just frustrating bcs she has moments that are soo phenomenal, and sometimes moments when she falls short. Like her voice in belting her note in "I Won't" was soo good, and so is her verse in "Only You," but then sometimes her adlibs in "Secret Love Song," just fall short in my opinion, and by that I mean most of them. I don't want her to have moments where she is phenomenal, and moments where she falls short that COULD BE AVOIDED. I get that she is human and can have off days and make mistakes, especially performing in a live setting. But look at Beyonce, or other top quality vocalists. They still obviously have off days, but are consistent, bcs of proper training on top of their natural talent. Leigh has the natural talent, I just want her to shine more, and showing us better vocals and learning to master her voice more. Idk

I don't think Leigh can do what Perrie do, at all, the same goes for Perrie doing what Leigh does. The two of them have very different voices, both are good belters, but Perrie has so much confidence and it's consistent, fortunately Leigh has gained more confidence and we can appreciate her voice more.

I don’t think you can judge little mix individually yet. They are still together and only Perrie has sung a song on her own. You can’t compare because they all do different things in the song, like Perrie normally does the high belts, jade normally does high notes using falsetto, Leigh does a bit of both and Jesy doesn’t like singing high. 🤔

@Anne Day no I completely understand. I don't know how you measure who is vocally stronger. I also don't think there is enough on each of them to establish it yet. For example Jesy doesn't always sing live and it looks like she prefers dancing. Can you compare someone who is predominantly a singer like Perrie to someone who pretends they can't sing high because they don't like it?

Hey :) Can you not rate them? I know that's what you usually do with girl groups but the thing about little mix is that they're different to any gg that has come before them. There's no one that's a bad singer , they all have their own styles that make them incredible. Little Mix are so long lasting that they're better together than apart :) This isn't a hate comment or anything like that I really love your channel by the way!!

@Justpaul I would like to state that I don't believe the OP was stating their are bad singers within those bands or other girl groups in general, but instead that in Little Mix there isn't a specific one who sticks out or is considered the leader. For example, Fifth Harmony it was Camila Cabello or in Destiny's Child it was Beyonce. When they mention a bad singer, they are talking about how she is talking about ranking them/ rating them based on who is the "best", but there really isn't a "best" singer in the group. Sure everyone has their favorites, but each has their individual strengths and talents which makes them an amazing group.

@Diamond Benford yes, I know right?! And not just them. Selena Gomez is always criticized about her singing skills, but if you see her acoustic performances you'll be surprised by how good she is. Jesy is the same. Just because her voice is not the highest, she's always at the bottom of the scale. They have emotion in their voices, depth and richness to their tone.

I think they're all equally good, they obviously have their own flaws and their own highlights. For me the only thing with Leigh anne is that her voice is the more "normal" voice out of the four, while the other ones have very recognizable voices

Leigh Anne is my favourite (I'd prefer her tone) but I do think Perrie and Jade are probably more talented. Imo she was second best at the beginning but Jade got better. Jesy is very hard to compare with the other 3. I do think she is probably not as technically gifted as the other 3. But jesys tone is probably my second favourite. You are very brave to compare them. I see nothing wrong with it, but there are many stans who wont.
