For me, this Loreen show was solely to confirm why she is the queen of Eurovision. Taking into account the position and the way she sings there are obviously "details", because she is human 🙌🏽

It sounds much better than the studio version. All the imperfections of live is what i like. Not a quantised sound to stay exact on tact. I also like it general in music creations when not all is exact on point. All the dynamic get lost. All these little "off" sounds are what humanize music and breath life into it (of course you should not be too far off). This version with the very uprising orchestral build up is really much better than the original for me and also there is a lot more dynamic in her voice. Of course live music can be too much off but i really loved this performance....also from the general set-up like it is a piece of art. The light effects are really on top as well. I am not a fan of ESC but this was the best performance and song i heard yet in history of ESC.

I am NEVER tired of hearing your analysis of Loreen's fanastic vocals and thank you! I discovered her recently, after seeing her win 2023 Eurovision, on streaming here in the USA. I am obsessed now and listen to her all of the time. Loreen has one of the best voices, she's epic!

You know. You need to understand that it is an artistic choice to sing and stay seated on this chair. Dancing and singing is what she does all the time during her performances. I think she just wanted to do something different. She simply took advantage of this Eurovision contest to promote her new single and she was totally right to do it that way. I listened to the studio version of this song and it is very good. But I'll be honest with you, I prefer this performance better because her voice is more natural and more spontaneous even if there are echo effects. What I really like about Loreen is how perfectly imperfect her voice is. Many artists try to have their vocals be as perfect as possible, so much so that they lose the flexibility and emotion in their voice because of the perfection they seek.

There was definitely reverb and what sounded like some pitching to make her vocal deeper on certain belts to fit in with the performance, but she wasn't having her vocals corrected on those two parts you mentioned she was singing it in a different style. Check out her other performances. She NEVER sings a song the same way twice. Slightly annoying when a "vocal coach" is claiming this. Surely the chance of her "missing" the same note twice on the same part of the song would tell you that...

I love this performance, the visual was sooo stunning!!! I just feel like all her eurovision performances tend to be so physically demanding that she always struggles a bit vocally (she also did in Euphoria and Tattoo) - which is a shame, because under "normal" conditions, her voice is so strong and controlled. I feel like the wider eurovision audience doesn't even have an accurate idea what a great vocalist she actually is.

I have also been waiting for your reaction based on this performance, I completely understand and not disagreeing with anything said, however the fact that she pulled of such a great performance. We can not look pass that, this performance was the high light throughout the entire Eurovision 2024. She could have easily won a third time. For me Eurovision should be about what it stands for United by Song meaning singing and this performance embodies that. All these other acts with their amazing back up dancers etc is extremely good don’t get me wrong, but take these dancers away and then the entire performance falls flat. To have like a dancer or two can make a difference yes, but sometime it’s more about the dancing than the singing and the competition is about singing. That is also why I love the fact that Loreen used a box last year and gave the best performance on a box, same as Nemo this year, he gave an incredible performance, but to be on a stool like Loreen and give even a better performance that’s absolutely incredible and pure talent. Like you said Queen of Eurovision. Please don’t hate or take this in the wrong way just my opinion.

She's singing nasal because she's practically doing abs while singing. She always becomes nasal when she's doing physical performances, understandably. She never does that when she just stands and sings.

Too much critique. We can see the visuals, we don't need commentary on the wet hair, tattoo on the stomach, ribbons and 'bar stool' . Come on... to even call it a bar stool...reductive.... I enjoyed the video however it would help if you got the balance of showing the vocals vs your commentary, more even. Let the song play for more than 1 second!!! Also perhaps there is a lack of dictation and her voice sounds 'inside' because its the only way to sing the song while activating so much abdominal core strength for the performance... As a vocal coach its amazing you didn't even give props for the control to be able to sing like that while effectively planking through the whole performance...

I love Loreen but this performance was too static for me. I agree if she descended at the beginning it would’ve created the same atmosphere effect but I would add during that interlude she could’ve detached and moved. I’m not sure what she was on maybe that wasn’t possible but I got restless halfway into the performance. I’m a huge Loreen groupie but I was definitely expecting more movement and connection. Since she was on the center of the stage attached/strapped to the stool, though she was reaching for the audience, the performance felt detached. I love the song and her though ❤

Omg, I usually see/hear everything that you point out, but this video seemed (to me at least) like nitpicking without end! (At least from the fair share of videos I've seen and love from you) There were errors that instead would suggest she's indeed using "boosters" but not really tuners, couldn't hear it as you said this time, and yeah, first time I saw the performance I also though why not jump out of the chair, but it started growing on me as the artistic expression she purposely chose, not really a missed opportunity I would say. Anyways, it's not perfect since nobody is, but couldn't see where you came from on this one. Cheers!

The last part when she sings tattoo, so emotional. I love it. Full of sadness and desperation. Also, It was a bit annoying how you kept kinda making the same point with the tune in, pausing like every 4 seconds. I get it, copyright, blah blah, but it's not very fun as a viewer.

There was tuning throughout the whole performance. Now Loreen is an amazing vocalist, but I'm so pissed at how the interval acts are always either lipsynced or have tuning on them. Could we just let them be imperfect... It's a live performance after all

I was really disappointed with the sound in the arena. You could not hear her voice at all... only in the chorus you could hear her, but not even understand what she was saying as the instrumental part was way louder. for all the other artists this was fine, and ooking at this recording it looks fine as well. I dont know why it was the only one that was so bad in the arena itself

Not going to lie. I’ve got such a lot of respect for Loreen but I honestly thought this was so disappointing. Vocally not great, too much messing around on the stool. It was really dull TV. Personally I think she’s so much better than this performance.
