Ok let me give the full context here. Lara and Igor Krutoy, the pianist here, co-created an entire album, titled "Mademoiselle Zhivago". Igor composed the music and Lara wrote the lyrics for all songs (in different languages!). Igor is the most famous songwriter and composer in Russia, a bigger equivalent for this country of David Foster for USA. When Lara released this album, it was a massive success in Russia and Eastern Europe. A musical movie was created from all music videos for this album. The title Mademoiselle Zhivago refers to the famous russian novel "Doctor Zhivago", written by Boris Pasternak, and to the 60s hollywood movie that was created from this (With Omar Sharif and Julie Christie in the lead roles). Lara is connected to this movie: her mum was a fan of this great movie and decided to give her daughter the first name of the character played by Julie Christie, Lara. The music of this movie was also ww famous, won an oscar, composed by a frenchman named Maurice Jarre, and titled "Lara's song". This album attracted a lot of covers from russian, eastern europe and central asian artists. The first of these artists is of course Dimash. He has been a fan of Lara since he was a child. The song is about duality, like the good and bad side of her character, hence Mademoiselle Hyde as reference to Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde famous story It's important to note though this performance was NOT live, it was lipsync'ed Apparently this happens often in the russian TV. In particular this comes from her participation on a yearly event there called New Wave which is a contest for young singers. Some famous singers do some songs accompanied by one of the hosts Igor Krutoy. Lara was there many years. Most reactors choose this video for this song, the quality is good and she acts the song very well, but if one wants to hear a truly live performance there are others like the one in the Kremlin in 2010 where she did a full show (still some songs have playback for some reason but I think this wasn't one of them)
