Morisette is a phenomenon. Not only does she have flexibility and agility in whistle register, she can casually add vibrato to her whistle notes too. Let's all pause for a moment and appreciate that not only did she produce a virtuoso vocal performance here, she also did it SITTING DOWN! Would love to see her and Dimash work together.

Thank you. Great reaction. U r very knowledgeable. She can maneuver her whistle register, she can hold notes for days and she does have a rasp when she wants 👍 I agree about the emotion and connectivity to a song that is an original. However, I feel that Mori is a very emotional singer and many times she has moved me to tears or given me the goosebumps to songs that are not hers. She continues to surprise me with her incredible talent. Amazing singer but awesome entertainer and musician. Please watch a stage performance of hers. 2017 Asia’s song festival or Heart medley (songs from the group Heart) or 2019 Motown medley .....she is a humble wonderful human being and her personality shines thru on stage. Have a wonderful day. 👍🙏✌️ ps- agree about the cheesey production but it is kind of a cheesey love song.

She is the living manifestation of an angel in disguise whose many years ago on this day, God decided to send her here. She's meant to touch lives and effectuate euphonious angelic voice for us to behold. We are caught in amazed and awed by the vastness of her vocal supremacy. She doesn't only have a lots of character to her vocals but also the genuine expressions from her beautiful face, there is so much passion and talent to convey emotions and connection which really assists in delivering the story of the song. Just a gazed in her eyes will pierce your heart, with music to your soul drenching in melody of everytime she sings. You don't just listen to her, you experience and live Morissette Amon. The song of hers where she does many, many, many many many of those "yodelly breaks" is "Naririnig Mo Ba", another original of hers, also live on the Wish Bus. You might actually find it more impressive than "Akin Ka Na Lang", or equally so. It's another one of those where she puts sooo much emotion into the song where you don't need to speak the language to feel it (I'm an exclusively English-speaking American and I don't feel like I'm missing anything). Highly recommended. She's so amazing. You're pretty swell yourself! Great reactions/analysis! Link to "Naririnig Mo Ba" - kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKO0qqBmg9iGiKM

Great take on Morissette’s original song coach! But funny how you mentioned about singing your own original song because Mori does a lot of covers and she’s also known as the Cover Killer. Her rendition of Rise Up by Andra Day live on the WishBus is out of this world and then had the audacity to outdo herself by singing it in Acapella with 3rd Avenue on her YT channel. Lol Hope to see your reaction to both. Thank you for featuring her again on your channel. 🤙🏽

You are the best reactor for me. I see sincerity and expertise. Not pretentious and your listening and watching the performance first before saying something is what i really like. Because pausing the video and commenting is annoying and some parts of the performance could be missed. Because as a viewer, i observe the detailed reaction from the reactor and i can tell if the reactor is impressed or not or if the reaction is sincere or fake. And i love yours. 😊

Appreciate your VERY knowledgeable insights. Very good intuition. As far as artists feeling covers I know what you mean that many covers seem removed from the feeling/message of the song. However, when you listen to more Morissette, you'll probably agree that feeling songs (incl. covers) is one of her unique qualities. There's a reason some call her a "cover killer". Highly recommend 'Rise Up' (on Wish Bus), 'She Used To Be Mine' (Stages Sessions during quarantine) or 'Stone Cold' (MYX).

The way she sang, you can feel her heart overflows with kindness, emotions and compassion. She is the serenity amidst the chaos of what's going on with the world right now. With her heavenly vocal control, techniques, dynamics, runs, riffs, range, resonance, register, timbre, squeaks, breaks, cracks, cry, fry, growl, grunt, vibrato, crescendo, decrescendo, melisma, tone, pitch, belt, key change, chest voice, head voice, mixed voice and who doesn't remember her divine whistle notes (let's not forget about that) that are all so majestic she can easily sedates everyone's life turbulence and turned it into hope and love and music. She is all, and she is more that's why since before we loved her... beyond measure.. beyond reason.. beyond time.. and we'll still loving her... and we'll always and forever will be.😍

I'm pretty sure she wrote this song about Dave Lamar another Filipino singer. They have since gotten together and they have a couple of songs together. He seems like a nice guy and during the Pandemic they were together a lot and it was fun to watch their interchange. Still into every life some rain must fall. Their getting together was not met well by her family and by a section of her fans. But most were like me I just got voodoo doll of Dave and......wait nah I wouldn't do that. In case you haven't guessed every male that has seen and heard Morissette sing has fallen in love with her. So her having a boyfriend, might be fiance' by this time, was met with a bittersweet happiness for her. Morissette is an incredible singer and human being and I think pretty much everyone who follows her has been in love with her she makes it easy to do. Thank you for your reaction, I'm going to check out your library and see if you like the same stuff I do.

Yes, thank you for bringing up the datedness of the song. In the Philippines, as far as art is concerned, we do not think in movements, you can write in any genre and era regardless of where we are in history, but we gravitate to eras and genres where vocals are at the forefront of the performance and hold on to that for as long as we can have our singers belt. So 80's 90's?

Morissette is the greatest singer/vocalist to ever step foot on this planet. A freak of nature. She is truly indeed, the "Asia's Phoenix", an unstoppable force of vocal power and prowess, a symbol for everyone to rise up from the ashes amidst this chaotic times. No one in a human form can execute strenuous vocal skills in one song performance. Her insanely vocal range, control, techniques, dynamics, power, belt, low notes, growls, squeaks, and her signature whistle tones after hitting a high note in one breath. Can't imagine, how she did all of that. Maybe she forgets on how to be a human, again. It's way too much to handle, inevitably we're having an absolute eargasm. Her music is a gift. A light when we're lost in this dark times, the warmth in our hearts in this cold life. Listening to her sang send chills to one's soul even after a thousand times. Her entire existence validates that there is still hope and love left in this world.😍
