It's just a sneak peak of how his shows usually are, he really is one of the odd birds in current pop music, being that popular but stil sticking to his influences and not going with the usual pop stream. I find it kinda endearing that he chose to sing this song in his solo concerts and that he still sings just his part in the chorus)) Other boys sang Drag Me Down in their solo gigs but no one did the climax "Nobody can drag me down" at the end that was Harry's trademark, they also sang their parts. It's like unfinished jigsaw puzzle and I have a feeling it's intentional))

Harry is really emotionally attached to WMYB even though he didn’t write it (per his interviews), but he also very much wants to move forward with his musical style, so he rocked it up! Maybe he purposely sings it as if he is missing his mates harmonies though…every thing Harry does is very carefully thought out.

Exactly. x Harry is a total perfectionist when it comes to his work / music. So if something sounds a certain way, or conveys a specific feeling or emotion, it’s definitely not an accident. Everything Harry does is intentional. I find it really endearing how he is such a perfectionist when he’s performing, yet also such a goofy disaster child at the same time!😂 God I love that man!❤🫠❤
