Hey guys..so about last year Pentatonix did a rendition of Billie Eilish song When the party is over. It is such a difficult song as it is 2 octaves high. Mitch Grassi's voice seems to overpower Scott Hoying and Kirstin Maldonado's voice in the trio. Matt Sailee's basso sort of grounds the high notes in the trio and Kevin Olusola's beat boxing stars the show.

This is sort of underrated by many reactors. Not sure why. It's a haunting song that the group does beautifully. Done during the Covid year when they all had to set up studios in their homes. Thanks for checking this out and your great commentary.

Kevin and Matt singing lower is a wonderful contrast to the trio singing higher. Matt has a hot chocolate voice! Kevin only sang...no beat boxing.

Thanks for this interesting and informative reaction. Have you heard Mitch's cover of Billie Eilish's Your Power. It's gorgeous - so long as you do his instrumental version, not the acapella one. I think you need at least five performers to make acapella work. Mitch played the piano and it's very sensitive and works so well. Have you done Forestella? They're a crossover South Korean male quartet who also do sensational harmonies. They are apparently known as The Kings Of Harmony, which I won't argue with.
