FELIP is a good base vocal and very good in exploring different genres with it. First, he released his debut single PALAYO which is an R&B, sang not in TAGALOG but in his local dialect which is VISAYAN. There is an available English translation. You might wanna check out PALAYO if u wanna hear him sing in a vocal way that u were expecting. Thank u.

Many thanks for this video. You confirmed for us non-musicians that this is a step up for Filipino artists. One Filipino musical director said Ken’s voice has character. As far as I know, you are the first to say Ken’s voice has charisma. Now I understand why a senior citizen like me appreciate Bulan - the voice of Ken is like a magnet. The intro was intriguing, and the voice of Stell is perfect for the chanting. Ken has a cover of Khalid’s Location with Stell in the background intro also. I was laughing at myself, not you when I followed your vocal exercise demonstration. Alas, it’s too late for me. Thank you for reacting to Felip's Bulan and for appreciating his and his team effort to release such a iconic video. And yeah this is indeed a step up artistry in our country who are really used in MEDIOCRE production. That's why most of Filipinos (count me in) are patronizing Foreign output. But I've changed when I discovered SB19. And for past years they've been given not just good music but great production in music video aspect. Back to Felip's Bulan, I am super proud for this young man. He is the executive producer of this song. And Bulan is such a special song because it's so rare to hear a song that's a lot of music genre infused. Such as Rock, trap, hiphop and rap. And the incorporating it in our Culture ( FILIPINO MYTHOLOGY). To be honest this is the first time I've seen one.

The intro was sang by Stell (you've reacted to his Tiktok compilation before, singing English and Filipino classics). SB19 Ken/Felip has got one of the deepest voices (if not the deepest) among Filipino singers. Please check out SB19's ballad, TILALUHA, live performance at the ROUND Music Festival to see how distinctly different their voices are but how insane their harmonies are!
