I love how the way they sing the end of the song is a throwback to the ending riff from Defying Gravity, which Shoshana sang in Wicked. Even her arm positions are the same as Elphaba's. So smart.

😂 I do love their channel and they have so much fun whether it's just the 2 of them, or they have a guest on. They are adorable. I'm pretty sure this is an older episode? Mitch has been working on his voice, as have them all, and we used to say, beginning around the time of that performance of "Aha", that Mitch was the most improved of all of them since The Sing-Off. It was this past year that we have to say Kirstin and Mitch are tied. Since she got that corrective surgery for the nerve damage from the cleft palate surgery she had when she was a baby she has really been working hard on her technique and range. Without the nerve causing that side mouth she's really doing amazing things! And her lower end has gotten so much better as well. So Pentatonix is still working really hard on improving all the time. Not a single one of them thinks they know it all. I like that about them! And Kevin but about his Improvement in areas other than beatboxing! He learned how to sing!

I love your honesty. One of the things I've enjoyed watching about you on these videos (besides you professional advice and friendly demeanor) is how, more often, you let the "professional" version of you slip a bit and just do a couple goofy voices or laugh out loud, just being a more relaxed version of yourself. People come to watch these videos not just for advice, but also to share with a relatable person who they would like to meet and share time with if they ever had the fortune to befriend in real life. In short, singer or not, people come to see you just being you. That's kind of the name of the game isn't it? No matter what character we play, or what art we make, people still want to see the intent of honesty, that integral human inside that breaks apart the superficial and connects to another human on a deeper, more core level. Anyway, thanks for helping and offering your astute advice in music. Remember in the end though, we like you for just being you :)

Note to Joey Cumley: just in case you haven't seen the few gems she's posted on You Tube, pull up her killer video of "Walk Away" (pretty sure every harmony you hear is her!), then her acoustic version of "Without You" (or the X Factor version); next to "God Bless America" (live). Then, a "raw" video of her really showing her "chops" on an operatic aria, "Queen Of The Night", in a Nashville recording session. When this lady suggests something, to strengthen your singing and performing skills, it's pure gold! But, I agree--MORE, Tara! So, I'm new to these groups and this channel, so no one take offense please. So, Pentatonix and Superfruit are some of the same people /but only two of the guys, not all five or are they two completely different groups and two of them just perform with both? I'd never heard of either, but very impressed! I originally had this channel pop up to review Disturbed - The sound of silence and luckily listened to the next few episodes! Pentatonix is AMAZING! Thank you for your review of them or a may have never found them!

So they are two completely diff groups pentatonix is acapella whereas superfruit uses instruments pentatonix is made up of 5 memebers the 2 guys in superfruit is scott and mitch who are also in ptx superfruit is just a side project all the members in ptx have solo projects hopefully this helps 😄
