After being a fan since their first album, Fogiven Not Forgotten I finally saw them live on their recent Australian tour and it was amazing! They are so great live! So glad they came back here and I was able to be there. Great show and truly lovely people and musicians ❤

Yes they reunited in 2016 for a series of gigs. Seen them in Dublin that year, and yes they sounded just as good as when they first released records in the 90s. They all played instruments during the concert. No gimmicks needed as they are the real deal. There’s probably some live performances from that year you could react to.

Bit late to the party here, but thank you for this! I love The Corrs and great to see you reacting to them. This was a concert they did at Wembley Arena in December 2000 that was filmed for Sky. I was there and it was awesome!

God, I miss The Corrs. They are my favorite band of all time. I saw them when they toured the US back in 2004. Caroline wasn't there because she had just had a baby but the concert was amazing. They went on hiatus between 2005 and 2015 and came back with two albums but have been dormant again since. I do hope they make new music again someday.

Thank you so much for reviewing.. they have endless hits and years of performances. They all can play the piano as well as their own individual instruments. Andrea plays the tin whisky and ukulele . More than likely mandolin as well. They all are song writers .

Really enjoyed your comments on this live version of Breathless (there are many other live versions on KZbin which are also superb). Have you seen their concert film “The Corrs: Live at Lansdowne Road” from 2000? It’s amazing. One song they do is “No Frontiers”, written by a compatriot, Mary Black. Sharo and Caroline (who is usually behind her drum kit) do a beautiful duet accompanied by Jim on the piano. It’s such a peaceful song with amazing harmonies and interesting lyrics. Cheers!

i got to see them i think 4 times... they broke thru in australia first and even played a shopping mall and some smaller venues.. i also got to meet them after a gig.. there were about 40 people waiting and they came out got their crew to use an equipment case as a table and signed for , had photos with and hugged each one of us.. they were genuinely the sweetest people...super tiny but so nice... i'd love to see your take on the song no frontiers featuring lead vocals of sharon and caroline

Love the Corrs. They have so many great songs. I think they are witches, cause they have not changed a bit when reunited in 2016. Looked same gorgeous, eventhough 20 years passed.

The arms back thing is probably from Irish dancing… The chest to head voice is probably a Irish thing… Andrea somewhat sings with her Dundalk accent

The arms back thing was out of habit... They were used to small spaces and they usually trip over some things ( Jim's place)...and Andrea was called danger dizzy by Jim coz she's always moving.

Andrea has a beautiful and unique voice, you can tell why she was the lead singer, though it has to be said Sharon also has an amazing voice, I was surprised, she should have been their co lead singer.
@jackjackson3878 Жыл бұрын
Sharon has an amazing voice, as does Caroline... they both shine on harmonies... Caroline has a very soft sweet voice.. Sharon got a more stronger tone. but her vocals in this live performance are outstanding...Andrea has the tone and sound for lead vocal. However they are unique as a trio.

Haha yeah they still perform. I first saw them… and actually discovered them because they supported Celine Dion back in 96. I was hooked from then. I got to see them a fair few times and recently they did the royal Albert hall again which was really great as that kinda kick started their career back in the day.

They're still around if I'm not mistaken!? At least they reformed and have released a couple of really great albums; "White light" (2015) and "Jupiter calling" (2017). Warmly recommended 😀

This was live in London. "Breathless" was 20th in the setlist which explains why she is not hitting some notes anymore... Regarding the violin, the audio in this concert wasn't really the best compared to audio of their other concert releases. I don't know why...

I adore The Corrs. Andrea Corr is definitely one of my biggest influences as a singer, however I do respectfully disagree about Andrea's stage presence. I didn't care for the over-sexualized performance. I found it off-putting and it actually made me uncomfortable for her for some reason. I am so glad though that you also mentioned the backing vocals because I always thought those were amazing. I was thrilled to find someone shining the spotlight on The Corrs.
