So guys, I love you all so much! I learned from posting this video that the “geese” sound I was referring to is called Inuit Throat Singing and is indigenous to their native Eskimo culture. Which is super cool! I meant zero disrespect I’m my reaction to it, it just caught me totally off guard and I wasn’t expecting it. I know of Tuvan Throat Singing but never heard of this kind. So if you didn’t know either, now you do! Love you all!

If my research has taught me anything, I want to say that's Inuit throat singing specifically. I know other cultures have throat singing but when I see two women doing it, I immediately associate it with Inuit folks. But I could be completely wrong.

5:30 that was actually a traditional Native Eskimo Inuit tribal throat song. nothing to really laugh at or make fun of... it’s just different to anyone who isn’t aware of whats going on! they actually did a very good job. i wish you knew that before you reacted with jokes and laughter. but it’s not your fault.

Throat singing is really popular here in Canada as well...it is a vocal talent to be able to pay homage to geese and other natural wonders. I really hope you make a disclaimer about this because laughing at it is quite offensive but I know that you had no idea but please make mention or a re-edit so that it ages well and can be used as an educational moment during this time of anti-racism. Especially with First Nations People’s they are one of the most oppressed cultures here in Canada and we are trying to bring more attention and awareness to de-colonizing...this is a hot topic since people in Nova Scotia were attacked for being part of the First Nations group. Please please please heed the warnings and use this moment to bring light to such an important topic! Music is universal and we love all cultural voices!

Bruh. why are people defending her. Yes. she didn't know about it, but as a singing teacher and especially as a person, no one should ever mock people because of their singing voices or the way they sing. Obviously, she is very uneducated in indigenous singing but Tara literally said mean comments, and you would think post-op that SOMEONE would at least check what the type of singing was.. but no. Instead she promoted to people that it was ok the mock and laugh at other people even when/if u don't even know what they are saying. In conclusion, she laughed at other people and on top of that, didn't even do research to check what was happening. Actively insulted indigenous culture, and to top it off, wrapped all of that up with a pathetic, not-even apology saying that she "learned things" and didn't even address how u should always be kind and never mock people.
