“I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2016. However, despite not being able to walk for a few weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and try to practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…we are all specks of dust…Also thank you for all your support. It means a lot. I have suffered from anxiety from the past and self confidence, (yeah hard to see now right) didn’t think I was ‘good, or worthy enough’ but I feel I have a new lease of life, don’t really care as much and want to show you guys what I have! : ) You are all awesome and without you, there would be no channel.

She won't sell her soul to the devil. Underrated just means that the main media won't promote her. She has made a name on her own, and is freaking awesome. I think she didn't really need X-factor or any other platform. Word of mouth and her youtube fans have lifted her! She is and will stay humble. . .

I agree to both of the above. However i think if she had better music, amazing writers like diane warren, david foster etc she could have reached greater height. But im not sure she wants that. Her music does all sound the same, production wise. But vocally easily one of the best ive ever heard, and just as good live.

The best thing about Tori's voice is that she can do so much belts, riffs, runs, mix her registers etc. but it's so flawless and so seamless even some of the best singers have to "think" about their notes meaning their cautious or sometimes there transitions aren't that smooth but Tori just goes for it and whichever way she chooses to take a note it works perfectly

I’m a huge fan of both. Tori’s riff are crazy accurate, she’s always so real and she’s so great that she can sing the whatever and turn it into her own style. ☺️ Ariana has more a particular tone and style and I think she actually create that particular air tone style - you know like Britney kinda creates that baby voice style. I think Ariana is technically smart to create different choirs with her voice, she is so intuitive with voices and changes 😅 and literally you can hear she has the musicality always on point ☺️ Anyway, as I said I’m huge fan of both. They are definitely the best ☺️☺️

This is such a cute reaction! Tori has been my favorite for years (since I found her viral covers on KZbin) and it's so nice to see that even the professionals agree that her vocals are ACTUALLY technically perfect along with being just outright stunning. She's super underrated. Only a few of her songs have made it to the radio, but they never got much play time so they never really topped the charts, though her DEBUT album did go #1 on iTunes the day it was released! People think she's boring bc she's not into drama or controversy and she's pretty modest -- her performances tend to be just her and the band, sometimes as little as her and an acoustic guitar and pretty normal clothes, but there is NOTHING boring about those vocals. Check out her stuff. You will not be disappointed. 💖💖💖 (sorry for the long comment. I'm passionate about Tori.)

Dunno your song :( I agree, lovely to meet Tori Kelly! This is the first time I encountered her. I love that she has a wide range. She can do soft and mellow, she can do fast, she can do lower tones, she can do belting. I love versatility in an artist. My fave part is that one when she’s singing at a kind of bar, I guess, while playing her guitar. I must say I enjoyed the more mellow ones better. And the runs! Wowzers! Yep, happy to meet her!
