They were nicknamed the Monster Rookies of 2019. They are often called BTS' little brother group because they're from the same company. Yeonjun is the oldest he is 20 (1999),Soobin is 19 (2000), Beomgyu is 18 (2001), Taehyun is 17 (2002), and Huening Kai is 17 (2002). They debuted almost a year ago. They're definitely favorites and their fans are called MOA. They definitely have a lot of support from BTS and ARMY. I know they're going to be around for a long time. I'm so excited to see what the future holds for them.

Their current ages: Huening kai: 17 Taehyun: 18 Beomgyu: 18 Soobin: 19 Yeonjun: 20 The one that does the rap in the recording studio is Yeonjun Soobin is the guy in the yellow Beomgyu is the one who did the vocal warm up Taehyun is the one who sang the "woah yeah woah" part at the start, the one who you said closed off his notes Huening kai is the one in the purple. At the time of these clips they were Huening kai: 16 Taehyun: 17 Beomgyu: 17 Soobin: 18 Yeonjun: 19 Also good to add, txt don't have fixed positions like vocal, visual and rapper because they are all all rounders Taehyun has mentioned that he's not as confident in rap (althoughhe did an amazing job when they covered boy in luv)

justin you need to watch 20cm live by txt. you will fall in love with the song and the voices. this video is from last year, during their debut song promotion we didn't have much contents about live vocals, cause they weren't focused on that: they were just new to music world and very young. now they practiced more, they grew up very very fast and they have more songs.

I’ll give you the ages; The youngest is the one with the beanie and purple sweater, his name is Hueningkai (kai for short) and he is 16 years old. The one with a blue jumper is also 16 and the one with the black jacket (with the fluffy hood) is 17. Blue jumper’s name is Taehyun and fluffy hood’s name is Beomgyu. These three still go to school. The one with the brown/yellow cardigan is Soobin, and he’s also the leader. He is 18 years old. The eldest is the one with the grey hoodie and he is 19 years old. His name is Yeonjun. Some extra info is that they’re from BigHit, and they all know how to dance (especially Yeonjun), they all know how to sing and rap as well. Yeonjun (grey hood) has lived in the U.S for 2 years, so he knows how to speak English. When he was a trainee, they done monthly evaluations and he always came 1st for dance, rap and vocal. There wasn’t a month for 5 years where he wasn’t first. There may be a tie, but it was always him included. Taehyun (blue jumper) also speaks English and Beomgyu (fluffy hood) also speaks English well. Heuningkai (purple jumper) was born in Hawaii and he also knows how to speak English. He’s Korean-American. His sister is also part of a group called ‘VIVA’. Anyways, hope that helped. If anyone has any questions, you can ask and I’ll try my best to answer them. It’s cool you actually watched this because it will give you a better idea on how much they have improved in such a short amount of time. Please please please watch their 20cm performance. The clips you watched were from their beginning when they were first learning how to record an album and were finding their comfort zone of singing and being recorded on camera. They have matured their sound so much since then and A LOT more confident vocally.
