Not as visually impressive? With the significantly more complex choreo and fully designed staging from the suitcases to the outfits to the background? Honestly I still believe that France deserved to win but let's not act like Loviu had the best staging this year.

Honestly Sandra 's performance slayed, excellent staging. I think she just needed more stage presence, she seemed nervous but that's maybe just because of her face being like that. I didn't felt her completely embody the song as I wanted it

She was my winner from the get go. My other stand out performances were Albania and Georgia, though Spain and Poland were also pretty good. I could hear she was sick, some of those notes sounded so painful, but I know what it's like to sing your heart out just because you love it, even though it hurts. I have so much respect for her.

I’m not surprised she won, it was one of my guesses for the win going into it. I was more surprised by their win last year. Looking back, though, France have topped the jury vote four years running - they do well at sending something with broad appeal

Also she was sick during the final that’s why her voice sometimes was not perfect… And also she was one the favorite to win . In commuty fan she was always in top 4 with The netherlands, Spain and Armenie. She deserves it such a talent… Congrats France for a 3rd victory in for 4years

I had a feeling since watching the music videos that this would do well and on the night it was quite obvious that it was going to come in a top spot. It's catchy, well produced, well polished, and Zoé is a talented and charismatic performer. She was very sweet in her interview moments as well. I was slightly hoping Spain would win because "Loviu" is such a bop, but absolutely this deserved to win. I could have seen many songs winning, but this one was probably the most well-rounded of the bunch.

France has first right of refusal if they want to host. The thing that differs JESC to ESC, there’s no right for the country that came 2nd, 3rd etc to host. Although since 2019 the winning country has hosted, it’s not a rule in JESC. Eg Italy won in 2014, but Bulgaria hosted the year after, and Russia won in 2017, but Belarus hosted in 2018. The last back to back winner was Poland in 2018 and 2019, and they hosted both contests. With France we’ll have to wait and see if they want to host it again even after hosting this year 2023 and also 2021. Plus they have the olympics next summer adds to everything.

Normally like the French performances in both Eurovision and Junior Eurovision and while yes there was maybe some pitchiness I think the ceiling with Zoe is SO High and she can really be super, super good in a couple years and fix any possible issues she might have now. I really enjoyed this one and am definitely happy to see the Win. That was some awesome power in that performance and a pretty solid song as well imo.

The best way to know if France truly deserved their win is to watch the entire show and know how the others performed. I'm disappointed you didn't watch the whole show since a lot of favorites actually flopped there.
