That's not true in the slightest. A note can only be resonant if it is supported. Avril's supported range goes up to around B4, which is more or less the same as Ariana's, but Beyoncé's consistent supported range stretches all the way up to F5 (F#5 if we count inconsistently supported notes) with deafening resonance. That's 5 notes higher. Avril is good, but she's nowhere near the vocal technician Beyoncé is.

I hate how people underestimate her vocal ability. Her two main songs Sk8r Boi and Complicated are not good examples of her as a musician. Shes also been in the industry for decades now and has access to vocal coaches and professionals the rest of us don't. It shouldn't be surprising her range is as wide as it is. This is by far the best shes ever sounded though, hands down best performance

No no no no no. The song is as gold as it has ever been. Avril SLAYS But Yungblood? His voice is enjoyable during verses, but he SCREWS hers on choruses. Evan Taubenfeld complements Avril way better. Evan > Yungblood. Sorry.

That Evan kid that everyone worships because of some relationshipping fan fic BS was a fine enough background vocalist, but Dom can slay this song on his own, he proved that on the medley with Cardigan. He puts your little Evan boy to shame.

I have no idea who he is, and Im not saying he doesn’t do good records on his own. Sorry if you stan him and felt offended... Im saying that in my opinion (and based on the dozens times Ive heard the song performed since I became Avril’s fan in 2002), Evan Taubenfeld is a better choice. He allows her to be the real star.
