This was back in 2014 when she was 18 y/o. This was the time when she was just starting her singing career. She forgot her inears so she had difficulty hearing herself . Even though she's big right now here in the Ph, she still performs before a small crowd. It doesn't matter to her if the crowd is huge or small as long as she can perform 'coz that's her passion. I commented on your video about your upcoming Christmas reactions, that I was thrilled Morissette would be showcased, but nervous it would be the upload that wasn't ideal, especially for a vocal coach.to analyze She performed this several different times, and although this is the most viewed, its also the one with the weakest audio. Her father left a note on this video saying she forgot her innerears. There are definitely better captures. This was a Mall tour Album launch, so she was beginning her rise. Quite honestly, shes not as big there as you think. I'm in the US, and just by luck found her 2 years ago. I just had an exchange with a fan in the Philippines who only found her a month ago and they live there....She is 19 here, but make no mistake, while she has grown in 3 years, her voice has ALWAYS been a force to be reckoned with. If I may, especially since you're a vocal coach, I'd like to recommend this performance with Orchestra recorded just one month before this Oh Holy Night one to be analyzed . Again same age, but definitely better quality( concert hall as opposed to a noisy mall)! She's performing a song in Taglog and it's truly remarkable at any age let alone 19! Hi coach, thank you for featuring Morissette. She was younger in this vid (18 i think) & audio/sound system wasn't good. She has grown since then, in terms of both popularity & vocal ability but she still performs to small crowds like in mall tours & gives her 100%. Hello there! Morissette must have been like 15 or 17 and was just starting her singing career. So as we can see, her technique was still shaky but we can also see that she has talent! If she sings this same song nowadays, I bet her approach to the song is much different.

She is so much older than that. Yes she's shaky with her lows in this one. Apparently was unsupported. She's corrected that since then. Case in point "Run to you" on ASAP video shows how strong she's grown.
