He is Seu Jorge, singer, incredible actor, when he was a homeless person, one day he asked a singer who was singing in a bar to let him sing a song, this singer was already starting to be successful, and when he saw him singing the took to the music. His story is incredible, a single opportunity that someone gives to a person can change everything, if it weren't for that maybe we would never know this talent.

Brazil has a special thing with women with lower tones, it is not just Ana Carolina. We also have Zelia Duncan, Simone (they have another version of blower's daughters, by the way), Marisa Monte, Cassia Eller... we just love lower tones I guess

Hey, so glad you enjoyed Ana! She is a big name here in Brazil. I don't know why, but here we do **love** lower voices for female singers. Maybe it goes smoothly with the phonemes in our language and we sort of unconsciously gravitate towards that? Because it sounds... To my ears, so very classy and clear and... Like a voice one would have to read the best kind of poetry. Something that really elevated deep, thoughtful writing, which a lot of classic Brazilian music aim go for. I dunno. A huge chunk our most historically acclaimed ones were def had a lower average pitch, and whenever a new one appears it def catches people's attention really fast. So if that's something you enjoy there's a whole buffet to choose.

This song is perfection. Their voices together are perfection. Their voices alone are perfection! The chemistry between them is the loveliest thing… It’s almost heartbreaking to watch! I’ve wondered and actually googled to see if Damien Rice has ever watched this rendition and I can’t seem to find it anywhere so if you guys know if he seen it and if there’s a video of his reaction, I’d love to see it I was introduced to this performance about 15 years ago and I’ve watched it hundreds of times whenever I need a little bit of perfection, joy, and heartbreak all at the same time in my life. Tears every time I watch this song. As a professional singer myself, I cannot get over her tone… And his. It just works. As you said pure artistry. ♥️
