A Brazilian friend introduced me to Ana Carolina a few years back with the Garganta video from the same show. it was astonishing.. her voice just stunned me. I spent the next month trying to get every album I could find of hers. The one song of hers I would love to see someone react to is Traição (Ao Vivo) ft. Esperanza Spalding. Its available on you tube and its just stunningly beautiful. Lovely reaction.

she is indeed a fine contralto. i am one myself, and I can follow every note she sings on this! the contralto is the only singer that can push their chest voices up to g4. their fourth octave crescendos are phenomenal - cavernous, dark, weighty. Ana is singing like a male tenor in this tune alongside Jorge who is functioning like a baritone. it's just sublime!!!!

You should react to Clube da Esquina, considered the best brazilian album ever. There´s a lot of instrumental, nuances of psychodelic rock and alternative rock.
