Right ! They have a refreshing vibe to them that pulls you in. The playfulness makes the listening experience so much more fun like you said, the fact that they have a more "boy-ish" not extremely "mature" sound makes them even more charming in my opinion. The fact that the members are very hands on with the creation process of their songs really solidifies their style, you know it's boynextdoor when you hear it. This reaction was fun, thank you ! Hope you keep your eyes on them, I have a feeling that they'll be big in the future.

They are the quirky, fun group from the new gen of boy groups. As you get to know them you notice they got some indie mix with quirky sometimes. That's why the lyrics are made according to the description and their personal experience. They wrote the lyrics and Co-produced their songs, this is the boynextdoor genre. yeah their brand is to be literally the fun, playful and quirky boynextdoor. They mix idol pop with indie rock well. And they are very hands on their music. Jaehyun, woonhak and taesan are the ones that are in composition and lyrics. Jaehyun and taesan already had some predebut songs.Their main prod team hasnt changed much being Poptime the one that produces the most and zico participates mainly in title tracks. Cuz they are all young and close in age(literally most of them are just 1 year apart) they include a lot of gen z things XD.

They wrote and composed all of their own song since debut, as for Nice Guy it is produced by the member Taesan, Woohak and Jaehyun! Seems like you're confused about the lyrics but it's main theme is they're just teenage boys who is full of confidence that believe they'll win the girl heart but in the same time they are actually anxious hence they keep saying no no no to stay cool even after flirting. but in the end you can say them basically saying please don't keep me hanging and just admit that they are so in love with the girl.

Ah I love them sm! Their vibe and overall concept is definitely refreshing to see. I believe they’ve said that nice guy is about how they’re confident and charismatic etc. That’s why it’s very playful and more about having fun. It’s very different from what the other songs in their album though, the other song has more meaning about it. Definitely check them out!!

I really love your guys review. I like that you are giving your honest opinion without fear of getting hate for saying what you don't think is good/don't like. I like all of the songs of the album but I do think this song lyrics aren't related as much to the main theme of the album. In my opinion the other songs of the album have better lyrics and are more correlated to the album theme (I really like "20" lyrics and relate to it as a 19yo)
