Thank you for your reactions. 3 necklaces. The symbol is the gnomon, which is the main part of a sundial. The older boy bends his and you can see that he has lost his way when he becomes the commander. The boy who makes the necklaces becomes the soldier (Dimash) and is married to the girl from the beach, who is now pregnant and the little girl is their daughter. The soldier kills his old friend the commander and then is killed in turn. His wife gives birth and dies at the same time that her husband dies and the baby is born. Her symbol is on the baby who becomes the leader in the robe at the end. A magnificent and brilliant masterpiece in all ways by Dimash. He performed this for the conference on religions and the Pope gave Dimash a medal of gold.

This is the story as I see it. It’s the story of three childhood friends who are all joined by the symbol of the necklace. Dimash as a child saves the other boy who became the dictator (The boy who saved the boy from drowning is really tall, so that gives us the clue that he is the boy who is Dimash) Dimash married the girl from his childhood, they have a daughter who was killed in the war. Dimash kills his childhood friend, (the dictator) who he saved from drowning when they were children. The Dictator’s soldier’s kill Dimash. Dimash’s wife gives birth to their son, his father’s necklace is passed down to him. It’s Dimash’s son at the end leading all people and all religions to peace (Throughout the video when Dimash is singing in a Middle Eastern style, that’s flash forward to the future, where the people are being led by Dimash’s son.)

@@suedouglas5455 The tall boy is the commander. Look at the mole on his right cheek. Dimash's character is the drowning boy who made the necklaces and who the girl chose over the taller boy. The taller boy is miffed about it and when the smaller boy gives him the necklace, he bends it in his hand. You can see that same symbol when the commander opens his hand and shows the bent gnomon symbol. The symbol is the gnomon which is the main part of the sundial. He holds it upside down and the insignia is also this way on the uniforms. He has lost his way and has developed a warped belief in war and peace. Dimash is not only singing in Eastern style but he sings chants from several religions. It is not all from the same source. Just as there are multiple representatives of many religions struggling up towards the light. As to the baby, I kind of think that he may be 3 things when grown into the robed man: 1)the soldier/maker of the necklaces/father of the girl that was killed/husband to the beach girl grown (who gives birth to the baby & dies in childbirth). 2) the soldier/boy who made the necklaces reincarnated into his newborn son 3) Dimash. He looks directly into the camera as he pulls the hood up and gives the tiniest of smiles. It is as if he is saying to us: I am telling you this story to give you the message. I am trying to lead you all towards peace with this work of art. Notice that the people who were trekking up the mountain stop and stand still as they face the light. These are the same people who follow Dimash when he turns and starts walking. They are the same, not 20 yrs older (which would be the case if it was the baby/son grown up). It is like the soldier (Dimash), the baby/son, and the creator of this piece (Dimash) all rolled into one.

@@michaelleahy6848 Well, they show the baby and focus on the symbol (gnomon) and that transitions to the adult robed Dimash's symbol, so it looks like the baby is the same as the man. I'm kind of the belief that the soldier (Dimash) dies and reincarnates to the baby - his son, but yet I also think that it is Dimash himself at the end combined with all of the characters that died. He looks right at the camera and gives a tiny smile as he pulls his hood up. I think that he is telling us that the whole piece is about leading away from war, towards peace and light and life, and that he is leading us with this story, this creation, these characters. Notice that all the ones struggling up the mountain stop and look towards the light and then the dead soldier screams 'WE are choosing life' 7 times before his body dies, the mother dies from childbirth and the baby is born with the symbol. He wants us to follow him as all of the rest do once Dimash is at the front to lead. It is a masterpiece. It has provoked more conversation and thought than any other video that I'm aware of.

These are my views on this amazing masterpiece The Story of One Sky - I have watched this many times and still find things out that i never thought of amazing video and i have said it before if anyone could bring peace i strongly believe Dimash could make it possible. This needs to be shared worldwide to show people there is another way. War is never the answer because the only ones to suffer are the innocent. Rewatched the song of Dimash today one line stood out to me One of the most profound lines in The Story of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY, GREED and POWER. The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end!!! The Dimash at the end can also be seen as Dimash in the afterlife leading others to the light in peace. This video needs to be shown worldwide. Something else i noticed is in his dying breath he sang (We're Choosing Life) as he finally passed away now that is powerful

@@gregweatherup9596 Me too. In my opinion Not shares doesn't flow, but many Dears are convinced. People dont share Shares. I'd like to see the original from the lyricist. Dimash doesn't have perfect English and adds S at the end of some words, even in French. Some different reactors had come up with very strange ideas about the symbolism, running wild in my opinion. Making it fit their religious and political views.

“We’re choosing life”. The scream - which none of us had heard previously - precluded “rebirth” through his son (the shepherd at the end). Dimash performed this before the video was released for a religious conference involving the Pope and other leaders. He also performed live at a concert in Kazakhstan with some of the video. Breathtaking performance of a masterpiece for peace. Prayers for peace from Canada.

This song is the pinnacle of humanity's grief, anguish, empathy and ability to communicate an aeons long wish in the most profound, exemplary, and easy to grasp way. The guy at the end leading the nomads is the son (second child) of Dimash's main character and his wife. Their daughter died during the war and he killed his former best friend before being killed himself. Very powerful video.

Thank you for reacting to this outstanding MV. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But indispensable and simply indescribable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. Dimash was the littel boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. And she gave birth to her second child in the video. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby (and not the dead Dimash walking in afterlife) that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace (look at the desription on dimashnews). When Dimash premiered this song at his concert he gave a speech prior to singing the song. I think that speech is important and gives context to the song and story: "Many thanks dear friends, before I perform the next song, let me say a few words. Thank you very much. We, the people sitting in this stadium, each of us is different, not totally alike one another, but we are all God's children, each of us with different talents. And, as I mentioned just now, right now is a bad time. In fact, I am not satisfied with the present situation. I have not seen how such situations evolved in the past, therefore I don't know what will happen next. But many people are suffering today because of a few individuals, it's really true. We, we the adults, consider ourselves to be "smarter" than the small children and innocents, but while we do our best to teach and educate our children, we forget that we also have some things to learn from those children. Thank you dears friends for having reacted to this masterful work. Here is some informations about this story I found.. The metallic element that the boy "Dimash" used to make the pendant is a gnomon of a sundial of a maritime compass, the triangular blade is attached to the sundial in such a way that it casts a shadow on it and the hole is drilled lets in the sunlight, thus projecting its image. This gnomon was used both to navigate and to measure time and timing, it marks the true north and served as an orientation for navigators so as not to lose their way and to guide people. In the video it is used as a symbol of fraternity but the The antagonist, who will later become the president, bends the element in his hand and a bent gnomon cannot function and set the course, it will never show him the true North and therefore the boy in the future will lose his moral compass. Dimash has really taken it to another level with this cinematic work. This is more than just a music video, it's a wake-up call! If he doesn't win a prize with this masterpiece, I wonder what it will take. He is so invested in the well-being of humanity and in the unity of all peoples. It takes a lot of courage to make a 13 min music video on such a heartbreaking subject. Dimash has worked for 3 years on this project and he said that he suffered a lot emotionally during the creation of this piece, besides at the beginning, you can hear sobbing in his voice and I doubt it was intentional, he was really in pain. His mother said in an interview that from a young age, Dimash always had a dream to unite the people of the entire earth in peace through music. This artist deserves all our respect and admiration. FOR STORY OF ONE SKY Film: Dimash as young boy past, Dimash as present man solider in war, Dimash as future (his son who leads). Dimash has boldly spoken out on stage in his 3 earlier concerts this year on the current war. Dimash has only been super famous since 2017....in that short time....at only 28 years old .....creating works of art at this level of depth and maturity, the risk he is taking, the cry out....screaming out..... for people to wake up and see and do something to save humanity.....BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE IF IT IS NOT ALREADY TOO LATE.......at only 28, after only 5 years of fame.....what kind of human is this???? When others at this point in their career would be doing only and everything they can to further their popularity, and create only highly commercial, formulated, low risk pieces that would enhance their financial gain....Dimash is taking big risks to create art that makes statements of great value and meaning…..the cost in earthly terms does not seem to factor in; it is the value it adds to his soul and the soul of humanity that seems to be the driving force……how lucky I am to be alive during his lifetime!

the film is based on a story written by Dimash with his own screenplay. (I worked on this piece for 3 years). Director Alina Veripya spoke about creating the music video for the new song: the clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character, two friends linked by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. One day the friend saves the protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in these children's story, where the boys love one girl and she chooses one. The second goes through a kind of psychological The disintegration and transformation of children's problems into an adult world of totalitarianism and struggle. When he becomes a commander, the opponent carries the idea of saving the war: the young boy who presents the tokens of friendship he made will marry the girl (Dimash). She will give birth. A baby girl (murdered) and a mother waiting for another baby. Friends were scattered, and the third friend became an enemy, friends are enemies, because of the war, It is shocking how the cry of true helplessness of a father embracing his murdered daughter is practically coupled with the cries of a woman in labor who brings a child into the traumatized world of soldier (Dimash). Dimash is not just a singer on a level of his own, he has enormous depth, is wise far beyond his years and is a role model in many ways. Like he always says: "we are not in this world to be singers, but to be good humans in the first place". He lives by high moral values and standards. He's humble, respectful, attentive, grateful,... I once saw a concert video of his where he stopped to speak to the audience. He spoke of the death and misery of millions of children in war and how the violence began with the decision to declare war made by a few adults. He asked how often the opposite happened. Never. War angers Dimash. In the video he sings, we are choosing life repeatedly. At a concert in Vietnam he sings the whole song of this video ending by stating, we need peace. Hello firends! Thank you for your sincere reaction! Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that? When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least!😢 Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace and harmony, through his music, MVs and many charities he dedicates his time to. He is a Legend and will go down in History. The mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was made by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The Piper grew up and started a war, using the symbol of the necklace as the crest on his army uniform. This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it: 1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end. 2) The Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end. 3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son at the end, who inherited the necklace from her mother…, they were all torn by the war. For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. BOLD. Exactly my thoughts. Not only because of the message but the harsh reality of war is being thrown in your face, the cry in agony while holding the child while whaling in the background is heart wrenching but what got to me the most is his underwater cry/scream “we’re choosing life” . I think Dimash , like most people, is fed up with the horror in the world but still thinks there’s a way to make it better. Let’s hope he’s right . Everybody should watch this. ✌❤☮

Let us shun our failing, self-serving Pied Piper leaders whose lunacy continues to lead us all to our mutual destruction by ignoring our species' fate & the "tightening noose" of climate change, hunger, poverty; by instead wasting time & resources & countless lives by choosing to "lead us to the slaughter" by engaging in these senseless, endless wars! YES!
