I went to school for engineering, completed an apprenticeship under an amazing engineer, and mixed a couple tracks that were released on commercial albums; so I know all this but (9minutes in right now), this still has value to me.. I'm gonna save this video because it's a great refresher course for when I've been out of the studio too long and start making rookie mistakes or been IN the studio too much and get so carried away with adding artistc touches that I lose touch with the fundamentals.

I don't think I can ever thank you for how much info you share man. If I ever need a refresher on any subject in mixing, I pretty much bounce between you and three others. So again thank you. I've been teaching people recently on mixing in Studio One, and also giving voice/music lessons. For concepts like EQ and Compression I send them to your videos after we finish a session, pretty much as a way to study at home. So i cannot stress how thankful I am for these videos when it comes down to this practice. All Love!
