I remember this song I wrote called the Blessing and even though it had floods of rhyme and punches it wasn't well received. But when I wrote My Flow and spit it(yeah I'm old ) I got more positive reactions saying I changed my style and I wanna show you what I got than I'm better than you. When I was like I'm not gonna try nothing new, it kept me from looking for something that was liked. At first, I hated it myself because it's not a battle rap. I wanted to be a battle rapper. People are more accepting to MY FLOW and it moves a crowd (told you I was old!)

Hey fam, I really appreciate your videos. I've engineered for years but never tried to get on the mic myself. Your videos totally inspired me to step to the mic. I've watched your vids and I've really been practicing my vocals, and I'm getting better. Since Covid I haven't been doing sessions in my studio, so I've been really bored. But now I'm just recording myself. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I'm getting better everyday. You a real one!

@SKYJORDXN4 жыл бұрын
You’d have to be established first tho..people build a core fanbase first before they evolve and step out. Do you know your target audience? Do you know who your actual fans are ? Do you know what songs you actually are good at making ? I never said it’s a bad thing to be versatile but it’s not a good practice to start off being all over the place. You gotta be able to build a fanbase before anything. Artists that have a more consistent sound that matches their brand will be able to grow a fanbase better than someone who’s just making songs that’s not consistent. Look at the rappers who know their target audience they only make music for them they aren’t concerned about stepping out and trying things that their core fanbase doesn’t like. I made this video to make people actually think about what they like and how to improve on the things that work for them and leave the stuff that doesn’t work alone.
