Bold of them to show the entire construction to give the DIY people reference material

the fact that they charge 5-10 grand for a lot of these and theyre still built with particle board is pretty insane. then they show us how to do it ourselves... might as well diy

These booths have parallel walls and lengths in multiples of 2. Can they really provide a true professional vocal (singing) sound. If so, how?
@tonyr.47782 ай бұрын
you are talking about reflection and standing waves. If the parallel walls are non-reflective or are diffused then that is not an issue. However, tight spaces and deadened sounds are not good for singing more so as to the effect it has on the singer. They tend to tire quicker since they don't get the natural feedback and tend to force the voice more.

One of the Best Ideas of SoundProofing is "SoundProof Curtains" it actually Block outside Noise coming from Windows. Check Here: livesoundproof.com/best-soundproof-curtains/

You can make this for under 1k
@Ptpop3 жыл бұрын
Agreed. This is just plywood with sound proofing panels attached.
@ausafahmad45872 жыл бұрын
Not really. Each wall needs to be filled with Rockwool inside it and cover from both the sides to make it look like a single wall sheet. Now the wall has to be covered with a sound absorbing carpet or blanket making it a complete single wall. Just making one wall would cost around 5k if done properly. Also the thickness of the wall is very important as it will help in more sound isolation and won't let any sound get inside the booth. Ventilation system is a bit tricky part here which I am trying to understand because I want my room AC to directly vent my booth through a PVC pipe providing cool air inside the booth that would eventually help in sitting for longer hours. Cable management looks simple as only one small hole is enough for wires and cables and can be sealed with foam and rubber material around the hole. If I am not wrong it would cost around 50k for a good sound proofed vocal booth.

Ive built these..and that material is heavy!!! not portable for me.. this thing would weigh 200lbs or more!! too much..build one with 1/8" plywood... you would still get a good result
@Noxo_off2 жыл бұрын
Start at 5495$ ? xD cost not even 1000$ for real :/ Dude, be real, for that price, you can have a real vocal booth with real acoustic treatement and you can even treat the room itself. I'm sure you'll still have enough money to get an airbnb in Bali for 1 week at least.
@daniellee1722 Жыл бұрын
It's all about time and money. You either risk spending thousands DIY and getting poor results or pay the 5500 and getting it right. They know this that's why they charge 5k.
@reggiislab3 ай бұрын
@@daniellee1722 What's right about this ? Bunch of foam and plywood isn't really a good booth, especially for this money, you could hire someone with some carpenter skills and make you a real booth for 5k with rockwool insulation that will cover the full frequency range
@daniellee17223 ай бұрын
@@reggiislab You're right and I thought about that. The problem is finding the right carpenter. I mean the work can't be too hard after some research into vocal booths.
@rihhard10723 ай бұрын
