While "Love Dont Let Me Go" is like shes talking to love itself as an entity trying to find answers.. here in "Now Im The Fool" it was her pain, being badly hurt that she felt she was made a fool. Now it can be interpreted in ways, it could be heart break, friendship, family or about her career.. depends on how the listeners relate to it. Now I cant wait for you to listen to Fire and Rain which in my opinion could be the dark horse song in the EP.😅 ...where she tells us one of her major source of strenght. Thanks Rofer.

Yes, you are right on. Angelina will sing about love and as she does she will interpret the feelings associated with love and we can feel the message in the song because her feelings are genuine. In many of her covers she is able to redefine the message of love in a song because her interpretation is very different than how it is presented in the original song. And she has been doing that from ages 9 -17 ! And, what about her vocal growth? Isn't she something? Her storytelling style remains incredible and her voice is blessed with more and more depth and is there no end to what she can do?

Agree the lyrics tell a clear story. This is not about a player and a sucker. (Tho ya kinda got a sad view of most girls as suckers and guys as players.) Angelina is saying someone told her they weren’t good enough for her; Total cop out blaming her for a breakup and not owning it. She expresses the anger and anguish that ensues. Not so sure Angelina didn’t experience a typical high school heartbreak. When Angelina was asked recently about a boyfriend, she said “boys are trouble; I want to focus on my career.“ Thanks for supporting Angelina🙏🏼

But, she sure nailed this type of relationship and breakup. I think your understanding of the song is spot on. It has always been hard to understand how, even from a very young age, she could express the emotions she needs to for the song.

Rofer, Nice analysis but keep in mind Angelina many times is cryptic in her lyrics. We don't know for sure that this is about a boy. It could be a family member or it could be about her career and people involved with it. I'd say when we look to interpret Angelina songs, we need to think out of the box. It could be as simple as a boy but we don't know.

Did you know she was on a talk show? I think in Germany and she said she doesn’t feel like she’s only 11 because the only time she knows is when she looks at her passport so I think she is a child prodigy with forward feelings if that makes sense.
