For the last song most people have suspected that it was about how adults, like teachers and parents, disregard the feelings and emotions of children. Which is why the name of the song is SIU (Suck It Up).

i love maretu! taste of the cockroach is one of my favourites. but… the lyrics aren’t positive haha it’s a little confusing w the multiple words on screen but yeah it’s about bullying. though what i think of it is that it has 2 POVS (the top lyrics and questions are from the bully and the bottom are from the person being bullied) hope tht helps! it’s essentially the bully acting as if the bullying is a good positive thing that needs to be done while the bully says things such as “is this person (the bully) sane?” i’ve seen other theories saying it’s the same person bully turned victim and vice versa also others saying it could b a bystander. all the theories are pretty similar / same ideas behind it though! hope u can react to more maretu in the future! thank u :D

I believe that the ice pick part in darling is suppose to symbolize lobotomy because doctors used to stick a pick or a rod into one’s eye to damage the brain to make them have a calmer or a saner personality personally darling is my favorite because of the catchy tune and the lyrics and I love maretu because of how good they are at making a song with a messed up theme seem so whimsical and nice also could you react to new darlings?
