I know there is a song similar to this.. but honestly all clues are pointing to where Rin has feelings for Len, not Miku. The story starts with the two girls, supposedly best friends, sitting together and hanging out. I think all the loving touches was perfectly fine for girls who are best friends with each other since they were children. Then, Miku one day meets Len who she falls in love with and vice versa. What Miku doesn't know is that Len and Rin were past lovers, which is revealed when Rin has the flash backs to when she was younger(?) and with Len.. and Rin begins to loathe her former best friend. The whole pulling her clothes out of Miku's grip, snapping the flower in two, running away from the happy couple. The red strings are showing that no matter how they try to untangle themselves out of this love story, there is no way out. If one tries to pull away, it'll eventually choke the other to death. One way or another one of them would be hurt in the end. Rin will always feel hurt because Miku married someone she loved. Then, Miku finally realizes that she has to live with the burden of never being able to choose between her lover and her best friend, so she secretly commits suicide. However, it's not before loving Len all she could, and reminiscing about her time with Rin. The whole part at the end where it shows Miku choking and gasping for air is showing how the tangle is slowly killing her to the point where she disappears. Finally, Rin is free from the mess she was in and forgives Miku ( it shows at the end when she tries her best to fix the snapped flower in the same place she sat in the beginning ) and Len ( semi-loathing and mourning over the death of his wife ) holding the same flower, the flower is both of their connections to Miku, whom they both loved very much. I think at the end, the two ( Rin and Len ) decide to finally move on from their lover past and go their separate ways after Miku's funeral. Yay I'm done talking now.

Actually,you're wrong.I had read some paragrahps explain about this.Rin and Len love Miku,but Miku love Len 'cause they're actually old friend when Miku still has her family with her,and Rin is her bestfriend.Miku want to help Rin because she's a poor girl and Miku is the daughter of a samurai family,so she's..kind of rich?But then she lost her family,and Rin&Miku had to sold themself for the...something..'Ayumerou',right..??Len still keep finding Miku from the day she's gone and they're finally met each other.Len said that he'll buy her out of 'Ayumerou' and take her home,then they'll marry.Rin know about this.She loves Miku (not Len) but she though that Miku will be happy this way and let her go,keep watching her alone from behind.About Miku,after Len's gone,she still waiting,then she died because of her ill.After her died,Rin was very sad and heart-broken,she always sad for Miku,'cause she just keep waited for Len-a person will never comeback 'cause his family don't let him. This is AmeYumeRou by Hitoshizuku. I’m sure this song is about Rin and Miku being friends since childhood, and then when Len entered their lives, Len and Miku fell in love, but then Rin found Len and fell in love with him too. Apparently Len loves Rin too idk why. Miku and Len had run away, but then Miku died, theories like she died by an illness or Len betrayed her. Anyways, Rin remembers that Len says he will come back for her, which he technically never did.

I've actually been trying to decipher the meaning of this song for a while now. This PV is honestly very helpful. Is the story that Miku, Rin and Len are caught up in a love triangle? Is it that they both love Miku but Len is already in an established relationship with Miku where as his sister, Rin, is her friend who is secretly infatuated with her? After realizing that Miku and Len have feelings for each other, Rin gives Miku the cold shoulder and ignores her. Heartbroken, Miku commits suicide. Rin and Len then part ways, separated by the tragic death of the woman they loved. Hmm...

I've always thought of it like that ^^ Except maybe Rin and Len were separated as children and they didn't really recognize each other anymore. Rin seemed to have been sold into that place and became an oiran; plus Rin and Miku's childhood did not seem to have Len in the picture. Nonetheless, I really interpret the story like you do.

Actually the story us about two children(Miku, Rin) who were good friends since they were small. They both became prostitutes and fell in love with the same man(Len). Len was allowed to choose one girl he wanted and bring her out from there and he chose Miku. But in the end Len found out he only loved Miku for her beauty, and the one he was really in love with was Rin but it was too late. Miku died after that and Rin never left the place again even when she became old cause she believed that her childhood friend, Miku would come back one day.

I was told a similar story like that but except the stick that Rin broke was to represent the promise her and Miku made together when they were little that they’d always be together (friends) and Rin had fallen in love with Len first but then she saw Len cheat on her with Miku so Rin broke the stick (the promise) and then killed Miku??

Yo pienso que en esta historia Miku y Rin son geishas...Ambas son mejores amigas pero con el tiempo se empiezan a enamorar, pero porque eso está mal visto, mantienen su relación en secreto. Un día llega Len y queda fascinado al ver a Miku, y pues el la contrata como su geisha, y eso ya se vuelve seguido y lo hacen más de una vez, pero Rin al enterarse de que Miku pasa mucho más tiempo actual con Len que con ella, pues se enoja, y le dice a Miku que si ella realmente la ama (Rin) que ya deje de verse con Len, pero Miku aparte de amar a Rin, también ama a Len, y Miku le dice a Rin que aparte de amarla a ella, que también ama a Len. Entonces Rin no soporta no ser la única para Miku, y decide alejarse de ella, y Miku sufre porque no sólo ama a Len, sino que también a Rin, pero como se da cuenta que tiene que elegir entre los dos, y no puede, pues al final se suicida. Y al final cuando Rin y Len se encuentran, sus miradas es entre odio y rivalidad ya que ambos amaban a Miku y culpaban al otro por la muerte de esta (Miku), pero pero a la vez ellos también se culpan así mismo por la muerte de la persona que amaban. Además no sólo eso, sino que como se ve en el video Miku y Rin son amigas desde pequeñas, y lo más probable es que hace años, Rin conociera a Len y se enamorase de él, y Len también de Rin, pero con los años ese amor se quedase en el olvido y es hay cuando Miku y Rin se vuelven geishas, y pues bueno en un principio Rin al ver a Len con Miku se siente celosa, y molesta de que Len no la recuerde, pero eso se le pasa ya que a quien mas ama es a Miku, solo que esta molesta porque ve que Miku también está enamorada de Len y no solo de ella, por eso se puede ver la cara de Rin y Len al encontrarse y recordar a groso modo su historia en el pasado, y en el funeral de Miku, el odio por lo ya antes dicho de que culpan a la otro por la muerte de su amada.

I believe this is how it goes.... RIn and len both loved miku. Rin, secretly. and Len outloud. Miku was unaware of rin's feelings and went with Len. ( sort of like second pick ). Heartbroken, rin slowly gets over miku.. then i think miku died or something?? Or either left them both from the torn love triangle. In the end, both rin and len, love and lost miku in different ways.

When they both grew up together, they became prostitutes and both fall for Len, Len chooses Miku of her looks even though he loves both equally, and he frees her from prostitution because Miku had seduced him, wanting to be taken away from prostitution,, and this leaves Rin alone. The man she loves and her best friend leave together. And in their song, Rin sings about no matter how long its been shes still waiting and in Len's song, love dark tower, he sings that until her contract has ended, no matter how many years he will get her as well!!! sorry if my english is bad, japanese is my native tongue so ;n;

Haha... It's actually wrong. Len's first love was Luka ( Koi yami rou ) but Because she is Gakupo's wife (Len's brother) Len decide to move away. He was a playboy. One day he met Rin and Miku and he felt in love with them. Rin and Miku love him too but he can buy one girl and he choose Miku Because she was prettier than Rin. His true love way Rin and he regret his action. Miku died and Rin and Len wait for the end of her contrat so she can goes with him. Sorry for my bad english.
