The entire Bad End Night series was just so eerie and unsettling but it reminded me of a live play, what made me really shiver was when I realized that each song was just the same thing but Miku failing to find the ending (it shows in EverLasting night that Miku basically failed three times, and EverLasting Night was the fourth). And Miku killing herself, that was a tragic ending (and I for one, am a sucker for tragedies) A beautiful play I thought, but it always gave me a weird feeling.

In the music videos it isn't clear, but in the novel it's said that there's an enormous library Miku comes across that is filled with hundreds of books, one for each failed play. So they went through this hundreds of times! And even though Miku kills herself in Ever Lasting NighT...it really is the true and happy ending. The last shot of someone grabbing someone's arm is key. Think of the music videos as...extended commercials for the novel. They tell a lot, but not everything.
