My guess is Miku was easier to use and her design was more appealing to people while also being simple, which then resulted in her having the most popular songs and then THAT is how she is so friggin' popular now. I wish those skillful song producers would choose other vocaloids besides Miku for once.

No, Crypton didn't make Galaco. She was made by INTERNET Co (creator of Gakupo and Gumi), but her illustrator was KEI, who is famous for designing Miku Hatsune and the rest of CV series. So your mistake is pretty understandable, don't worry, I'm not going to bite you ^u^
