He's a shy, humble person and not so sure about his talent... He never thought that the judges and audience liked his performance. His competitors are good and skillful and pomoy is not sure he could top them just by simply singing. But one thing for sure.he just trusted God and prayed. Noticed his first audition song is " the prayer" it's actually a prayer that he sings... The angels gave him the glow. It's a message to the world. A message of hope.

Hi Yazik! I’d been to various shows like this and as part of the audience, we were told that we are free to applaud, whistle, scream or anything not destructive - if we like the performer. We are also allowed to react to judges’ comments either clap or boo. So the audience’s reactions in the show are actually real.

But what I mean by common here is that it is done in most events esp.in our province in Mindanao (mis.or) during fiestas and festivals before for fun. Though nowadays it's slowly changing and evolved somehow. Thanks po. I didn't mean to exaggerate po. It only means we really love MP a lot..sorry po if you find my comment exaggerating po.

There was once a talent show in the Philippines called Double Kara many years ago. The singers will wear a make up, wear a costume half man, half woman and sang exactly as how you imagine it. It was fun!

But it's only now that i finally found my favorite female singer and that's Angelina Jordan. That's how good she is. The half-half dressing you mentioned.. It’s actually ALREADY A THING IN THE PHILIPPINES. We call it “DOBLE KARA” literally means two-faced. Singers/contestants sing in BOTH MALE & FEMALE while turning left and right to match “who” is singing. Actually it’s already a passé here in PH?? I remember lots of contests (town,city, or tv show segments) like that when I was young. So many can do “two voices” singing here, though skills differ. Now maybe you’ll see that in probably comedy shows. Comedy skits. Marcelito though champions that craft.
