For this year I am rooting for Marsha as Aina already gained her spotlight last year and won something in AJL35 where as Marsha didn't win anything in AJL that she participate previously, she usually lost in semi-final even though she is super talented singer. She is one of the underrated singer and doesn't gain the recognition as talented singer. Thus, I am hoping this AJL would open people eyes and make people recognize her as the true singer like they did with Aina.

To start with, no offense to anyone and im not to defend anyone but Marsha has been much longer in the industry little late than Misha Omar around 2005/ 2006.. Even in her early years she is very expressive in singing which makes her a good actor as well so it has been with her ever since but she didnt really get lucky she didnt get good songs meanwhile Aina wrote her own songs and good songs so she rose to fame quicker.. Same thing to Ernie, she entered the industry around 2009 but didnt get hit songs not her luck until 2017 people finally see her. To me, even Marsha didnt win AJL this time but im so glad and so proud of her she finally get a chance to get recognition she really deserves😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Finally. Waiting for this reaction to cinta by Marsha Milan long ago. I love both Aina Abdul and Marsha Milan and i just cannot compare and choose between them. Fyi, Marsha has long enter the music industry than Aina Abdul from Singing competition Akademi Fantasia but after that she was active in acting and hosting tv show and just recently active again in singing. She is a good story teller when singing probably because of her years of experience in acting and hosting. Really proud of her. I hope she win something in this AJL because she deserved it and ofc to Aina Abdul.❤️

Both singers are great. It all comes down to the live performance of the actual competition. Also they can and probably will change the arrangement for the songs to make it grander and more epic. Marsha debut first in 2005 and Aina debut 10 years later in 2015. Aina also said that she’s a fan of Marsha since Akademi Fantasia season 3 (the reality television show she was on back in 2005). I’m fine with either of them winning best vocal but I am a little bias towards Aina because I’m a fan like you haha. Also I think the judges don’t like singers who belt too high. So I’m not shock if they give the award to somebody else. That’s just from what I see in previous AJLs. Anyway, I hope Marsha give her best and win something. She deserved it. We have the same opinion Yazik 😅I think with Aina as one of the finalists, it's hard for others to win best vocal. Not that Marsha isn't good. I think she did an amazing job here. But when compared to Aina, feels like something is missing. Maybe she will polish up a bit more before AJL. Marsha doesn't sing/perform as frequently as Aina, because she's more popular as an actress and I think many people think of her as an actress first, then singer. But I do hope Marsha wins something though. At least one of the three best song awards, she deserves it.

the composer of this song also a great singer in Malaysia, Hang Nadim & Bunga Cantik. Hang Nadim (known as Akim & The Majistret) 4 time participate in AJL and he has won AJL30. AJL is a competition of the best song for every year. I agree this country have plenty of great vocalist but doesnt mean they can produce good song each year. If you didn't make it to AJL doesn't mean you not a great singer. Imo AJL is a great platform to encourage singers and producers to produce more quality song for the audience.

Thanks for your reaction, Yazik. And good comparison between Marsha & Aina. I do agree that Aina has a slight advantage over Marsha in the head voice department. That doesn’t mean Marsha has a weak head voice, it’s actually really strong. She sustained a G6 in head voice so many years ago in Cinta Di Akhir Garisan. But generally, Aina is more consistent in terms of controlling pitch and shifting between registers. But, who knows, anything can happen in AJL.

Im a fan of both Marsha and Aina, both for different reasons. I think at this stage, Aina would want to showcase her best vocal control for sure. Marsha on the other hand, may just want to leave an impactful performance on her first AJL appearance. So I think she doesnt mind not to be in strict vocal control but go all out with dramatic memorable stage performance.

Uh oh i forgot to say that Marsha Milan also got covid prior to releasing the song.. She recorded it and then she got covid so she kinda postponed the release.. She says she didnt know she have covid until she have chest pains and trouble breathing then she knew she got covid.. After recovered, she said she trouble singing she cannot use the full capacity of her lung even the doctor said it could affect long term for athletes and singers ( Marsha said she is very concerned and almost give up singing) she also lost her father in law so she definitely not in the state to sing again but her new single Cinta means " love " is a special song to her.. The lyrics simply looks like a typical love song but once u really look into it and read between the lines u can relate it spiritually between u and god so marsha gets motivated and keep trying, look at where she is noww😭😭😭😭😭 so proud of her

Finally Yazik, u reacted to Marsha after several comments i asked for it. Just my 2 cents here, Marsha actually start her career as a singer and way longer from Aina Abdul. I am the fans of these two talent including Ernie is my fav. This girl Marsha is very brilliant singer and she was in the final as idayu in AKADEMI FANTASIA MEGASTAR where the comp was gathered all the previous finalist of the previous seasons of AKADEMI FANTASIA that one of the iconic and older competition show in Malaysia. For AJL comp, even though u r not understanding those lyrics, but u can give some perspective on their music arrangement and song structured. That might help ur judgement. Hence i am very glad u reacted to Marsha and during the night of AJL its all depend on their performance on that moment to be crown as best vocal. So for this year, im rooting for Marsha as she way too long being underrated just like Ernie and aina but they both got the highlight previously. Waiting for more reaction from you.
