Eric has 'reacted' to this himself. About a year ago in a training video for his virtual choir, he showed this as a perfect example of how to sing the piece. He was visibly deeply moved, with tears in eyes and a look of deep gratitude for giving such wonderful expression to his work.

Chris, if you're into something a bit heavier, Voces8's recording of Britten's Ode to St. Cecelia is absolutely breathtaking. The clarity that's possible with just one voice on a part is amazing. I've sung the work many times over 40 years, and there are whole lines I never even knew existed. It's absolutely the best performance I've ever heard. Voces8 are just incredible.

I would highly recommend listening to them perform Lux Aeterna (Nimrod) by Elgar. One of my favourite pieces of classical music interpreted so beautifully by Voces8

I’m so glad you’re doing more VOCES8 content! May I recommend their version of Caledonia? You might be able to find a few live performances of this song here, and it’s amazing!

I have sung this under Eric's direction in 2014. This is one of my favorite's to sing. Voces8 sings it perfectly...as always. ;-)

The guy with the long hair is the only American in the group. The rest are from the U.K.
