Since I first heard a cappella music from the Renaissance and then had the chance to sing it as a countertenor at the age of 17, I have always loved that kind of music. The interweaving of all the parts that come and go like the waves of the sea, has such a beauty in it. If I had known that a break of only three months would cost me my high register, I guess I would still sing in an ensemble...

First: this almost brought me to tears. As always, incredible technique, performance, stage; beyond words. 2. I am super curious as to how you decide where to place the voices, as sometimes the sopranos are placed right next to the bass, or in other videos I have always noticed you not only challenge traditional chorus formation, but are always playing with the spots and the general formation. Please please can you record the Victoria magnificat primi toni (with 2nd et misericordia) as there is only 1 half decent recording I have managed to find in all my life! Your sound is so much better! Please please! Followed by Palestrina nunc a 8 makes for the perfect evensong.
