This is so beautiful. My mother and I shared the taste for this type of classical music. Music for big churches❤

Who needs words when Voces8 is there with ooh.

I hope VOCES8 explores some more wordless compositions. There's a bunch of good ones to choose from, from composers like Lully, Rameau, Fauré, Ravel, Stravinsky, Rachmaninoff, Villa-Lobos, and some jazz. And film scores.

For me this song encapsulates humanity at its core. The imbalance of all things that comes with the good and bad of human beings. Every note and instrument played creates this masterpiece that shows the cries of humanity needing a savior that will free them of their own imperfect ways. Separately all elements are just notes that stand out in singular fashion but together they create this perfect understanding that there is not one element without the other. chaos order misery peace good bad love left right up down backwards forwards past present future hate life death. Too much of anything alone is bad for you. But together it’s what makes us human. Sung in a glorious harmonious sound I don’t think we’ll fully understand but is nonetheless pleasing to our ears. This song always brings tears to my eyes because I see both the extinction of humanity as well as hope for humanity as well. It’s bitter sweet.

Beautiful! I would love to watch and hear you sing Ave Maris Stella, if possible, please. It's my favourite piece to hear in your voices. Here in Brazil acapella/classical music is not very appreciated and it isn't part of our culture, unfortunately. There are a few orchestras around, but we have to look for people like you on the internet if we want to hear something different like this. Thank you for being such a wonderful source of inspiration. Keep doing the amazing work!
