Precioso canto. Exquisita interpretación polifónica de este motete de Palestrina. Voces claras, brillantes. Magnífico!

We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and Palestine 🇵🇸./amen./Moshe.
I feel relaxed and at peace while listening to this. How much more glorious to listen while in a cathedral. I wonder if they built churches for the acoustic value.

They did indeed, and if it's not a lost art now it's certainly a vanishing one. Music was regarded as one of the highest forms of prayer, and so it had to be performed exquisitely and heard extremely accurately.

That was really just lovely to listen to, you guys. :) I'm curious, and am asking this question not just for myself but for others after me - why was one soprano standing way over on the other side?
@sophietaylordenton3 ай бұрын
A totally valid question; the piece is written for double choir so the choir stands in the formation SATBBTAS to capture the back and forth between each choir :)
