Love your reaction Saeed,, such a sad song at the end of a man's roving days. I've been to Carrickfergus, a big castle and the sea, He was longing for a boatman to ferry him home to die in his place. Pretty good for an instrument with 'only' 9 keys. A cappella + good accoustics equals transcendance. Even 'plain song' chant lacks nothing. As they say, the human voice is an instrument. By the way, Celtic sound is so hauntingly beautiful. You wonder what century you're in--or if you're in all of them. It's a pretty good argument for the human soul.
