Many in the American church seem to think that having “head knowledge” is a bad thing. Good theology helps you understand who God is. Many seem to judge the heart of the one who’s learning theology as if they are “know it alls”. More than anything, we need Holy Spirit to teach us, and God has put theologians, pastors, teachers etc.. here for us to understand our history, God, His character, attributes etc.. who we are, salvation etc.. It’s not rebellions to know the things of God in a systematic way. You have the Spirit, now get the knowledge! Understand why you believe what you believe🙏🏾
