What makes it song so awesome is how it refers to both the Mandalorians (their history, their heritage, their legend and their legacy) and the Clones Troopers (their purpose, their sense of being and belonging ,their undying loyalty to each other and their everlasting sense of brotherhood).
@CHRF-55457 Жыл бұрын
You know what else makes it so awesome? The fact that the troopers sing it before battle. Spoilers from Triple Zero: She could hear a faint sound coming from his helmet's audio feed; when she concentrated, she could hear singing, and so held out her hand for the helmet. Helmet held close to her head, she could make out strong male voices, a choir of them, singing an anthem she had heard snatches of but rarely had the chance to listen to" "Vode An." They were singing in the privacy of their own helmet comlinks, retreating into their world, like Omega Squad did from time to time. She could hear nothing outside of the helmets, of course, and she felt oddly excluded. They were gearing up for battle. [Please note that I have cut out text from the original to make it shorter. Just two sentences shorter]

@@captnkeeli Look up Karen Traviss, she wrote the Republic Commando series (Hard Contact, Triple Zero, and True Colors, plus a few that take place after the rise of the Empire) and she is credited with CREATING most, if not all, of the Mando'a they use in canon. She had (many years ago when I looked it up) a website specifically about the Republic Commando series that had an Excel spreadsheet of ALL the words in Mando'a, plus a little bit about grammar, that you could download.

So is Mando'a anything like Cling on (I know it's heresy to talk about Star Trek on a Star Wars video but bear with me) in the respect that you could, theoretically, read, write and speak the language in reality? I'm sure that it's not an actual language like Clingon is, but still.

Guns'n Games 1226 I highly doubt it has the vocabulary or the grammar to be used as a real language
@chayne6226 жыл бұрын
+Cassu6 It can be used as a real world language, however it lacks greatly due to lack of full body content. You can greet and even hold conversations with it, if you either know how the language works, or you have a good translator. Grammer itself is very erratic, and the language itself is very harsh, so it can be difficult. I once was able to hold a conversation that was in mandoa for a few minutes, sadly there are verbs and nouns that are missing from the mando'a language, that English and other real world dialectics carry.
