Excellent review and that is one good looking bike, one thing I would like to know is how is it 2 up, got a Mrs to cart around and no doubt I am not the only one curious about that side of things

When I buy a bike I always have in my mind will it sell again? Love all the Vosges but same question in my mind and unanswerable. Grt review

Great review, been waiting for that one. 2 things, how is the vibration from the twin, my Z650 was very buzzy, had to fit grip puppies to stop hands going numb. Other thing is as someone mentioned not a fan of the rear spray guard, what was the state of the undertray as the roads where 💩ty.
@HelmetHeadАй бұрын
Glad you enjoyed the review 👍 I find the 525 engine really smooth with very little vibration so I don’t think you would need any grip puppies 🐶. The under spray guard is not to bad tbh and after the recent weather 🌦️ it’s done a good job of keeping the dirt away considering how bad the roads were. 👍

Lord Head, thanks for another 11/10 video on the Voge AC525X Scrambler, I'm sure the Man From Voge will be very proud of you. Your Lordship, is this bike as good as or better than the Benelli Leoncino 800 Trail? 😁
@HelmetHeadАй бұрын
@@williamlylecameron9345 thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it! That’s a tough decision between both bikes! The 525 feels lighter and chuckable but the Leoncino has the heavier planted feel. So it’s really difficult to say, it’s whichever bike you prefer to ride and which one makes you smile the most!

Agree, it’s a great looking and well presented bike for the price! Don’t forget the might scrambler 400x is only a 400cc single, but produces 40bhp. This giving another 7bhp is like having the engine from the monkey strapped on to it 😂. Really like the dashboard and the styling. and sounds good too. You’ll have to try a scrambler 400x. Shame you never did get to try mine after all. You obviously liked this though! looks good mate.

It's designed as an A2 licence friendly bike, so it's maximum power output is 'limited' to 47 Bhp. All 650 Royal Enfields only make 47 Bhp. The little Voge 350AC makes 40 Bhp and that's only 322cc ! Forget power figures - it's about how well a bike rides. The Voge is also £400 cheaper than base model 400 Triumph too....

@@rodgeskell4218 Certainly is!!! Capacity isn’t everything, how a bike is and behaves as a package is what sells.

That's a no,compared to a Fantic(saw a new one for £4500 last week),personally i'd still buy a Honda CL500 and get the Unit Garage bits on it!

Credit to Voge for trying to break the mould.....but those downpipes with their exposed sensors and bulging CATs are truly awful! And I don't like the rear spray guard either. And then there's the depreciation (ok, the starting price is good!). Thought I'd better give some balance!
@HelmetHeadАй бұрын
You should give one a test ride 😉 It’s great fun to ride 👍🏍️
@andyc750Ай бұрын
Depreciation is a bit of a misnomer really, percentage wise yes it looks bad but baring in mind a Japanese bike cost a lot more then actual depreciation is likely monetarily not much different, 25% of a 10 grand bike is no different to 50% of a 5 grand bike
@rodgeskell4218Ай бұрын
Sadly with Euro 5 and Euro5+ there's not a lot Manufacturer's can do with exhaust systems to hide them on un faired machines. Multiple Cats are a must and lambda sensor positions are dictated to be in specific places in relation to exhaust port and distance from a cat. At least the OE headers are stainless steel.... If you want prettier pipes then fit aftermarket headers without the cats. The rear spray guard is because the rear seat is short and the bodywork does not project significantly past the rear wheel for Type Approval. So the rear No plate would need to be on one of those unsightly long mounting brackets that stick way out past the rear of the bike, hence mounting it on a spray guard instead. You can simply fit a tail tidy to put the rear number plate back under the rear light were it would look prettier and neater.

The one thing that stopped me from buying a CL500, which on paper should be my perfect bike, was that it's got no charm. This has no charm and is a damn sight uglier which is amazing. Getting fed up of these Chinese clones, in the wristwatch world they'd be called out for what they are, homage/pastiche at best or cheap replica at worst.
@rodgeskell4218Ай бұрын
Well - 1. You'd have to test ride one yourself to find that out. However, having ridden both bikes I can tell you unequivocally that the Voge is no where near as bland as the sterile Honda. They share a very similar engine but the Voge uses a longer stroke crank to increase capacity from 471 to 494cc and whist it doesn't sound a lot on paper - it really does make a world of difference on how the motor performs. If you bother to ride one and didn't know what capacity it was then you'd guess at probably a 650 or at least 600 cc. 2. Probably go and live in a cave - because if you're fed up with seeing and reading reviews of Chinese bikes now, you'll be apoplectic 12 months from now. Like it or not, Chinese bikes are here to stay and their sales are significantly increasing taking market share in every segment that they're in. It's not just based on price alone, build quality, performance and ride comfort are a world away from where they were 10 years ago. And unlike replica watches, were a cheap watch is pretending to be something that's expensive, Voge etc aren't - they're their own machines.
