hey queen! just a heads up - you're right that glycolic acid isn't for daily use! though some formulas are more gentle than others, you shouldn't exfoliate every day because glycolic acid and other AHAs essentially kickstarts the process of/removes the topmost layer of your skin - which is great for removing dead skin cells, but your skin needs time to renew itself before you take off more! also, if you're using glycolic acid, you need to use SPF everyday to protect your skin because AHAs make the skin more sensitive to the sun. whilst you need to use SPF if you have AHAs in ur routine regardless of when you apply it, most people apply AHAs at night because of this fact. you will also need to wear SPF everyday for at least two weeks after you stop using AHAs (because of the aforementioned effects it has on skin), though it's recommended that everyone wears sun protection every day of the year regardless of what skincare you use of course. hope this helps!

I recommend the isntree clear skin bha toner for you Maddison. It’s more gentle than a glycolic acid toner and it’s great for oily acne prone skin :) Also good job applying your SPF keep it up girly you won’t regret it

Clinique toners are literally just denatured alcohol and fragrance and I would not recommend them to anyone. Super drying and potentially irritating to the skin. I suggest looking for a better toner
